In helmet, goggles and headset, sit in the front cockpit of a meticulously restored 1920's airplane. It's aviation like it used to be. Fly low and slow over beaches, inland over lakes, golf courses, vineyards and more. Or, make up your own route. You are in constant communication with your pilot. Just let them know where you want to go, and you are on your way. Each flight can be more thrilling than a roller coaster, or as gentle as you like!

If you are flying solo, why not take over the controls and try flying the plane yourself! Or, bring a guest and share the ride of a lifetime.

Who
The San Diego Biplane Flight Xperience Certificate® is for one participant.

Guests
You may invite one guest to join you for the Biplane Flight. The combined weight of both participants cannot be greater than 400lbs.

When
The San Diego Biplane Flight Experience is offered Tuesday through Sunday, subject to availability. Flights are offered between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM.

Duration
The San Diego Biplane Flight Experience has a flight time of 20 minutes and a total duration of approximately 1 hour, unless an extended flight time option is added.

Weather
The San Diego Biplane Flight Experience may be cancelled by the Pilot due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather.

What to wear
Dress comfortably, flat rubber-soled shoes and layers are recommended for this open-cockpit aerial adventure.

Additional Information
Participation in the San Diego Biplane Flight Experience is limited to individuals weighing less than 230 lbs, or two participants weighing less than 400 lbs combined. Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe conditions are not eligible to participate.

Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form.

Cancellation Policy
All changes to reservations for the San Diego Biplane Flight Experience require seven (7) days advance notice.

Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.

Bi-Plane Adventure

I thought it was a lot of fun. Loved being up there in the open air. It was well worth it, and I would recommend it. I have wrote about it and posted pictures of my trip on my travel blog which will post on April 29th.

Bi-Plane Ride

Our entire family went as a Father's Day present. This is the second Xperience gift we have given our dad and he said this was his favorite! He went with mom once we convinced her it was safe, and she came back ready to go again! We will be back!
