This is an adventure you and your guest will always remember as the two of you tour San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge, the Presidio and Sausalito in an open air 1955 Big Red Shiny Mack Fire Engine!

After suiting up into an authentic fire suit you and your guest will leave Fisherman's Wharf and head through the Presidio, to Fort Point and then ride over the Golden Gate Bridge. Next, it’s on to Sausalito, a jewel of a village with magnificent views of San Francisco across the Bay. A photo stop at Fort Baker is next on the agenda before heading back over the bridge, through the lovely Union Street neighborhood and returning to the Cannery.

This unique trip around San Francisco is sure to satisfy anyone with childhood dreams of becoming a heroic firefighter. It's fun, exciting, and educational too.

Additional Information
The San Francisco Fire Engine Tour departs from The Cannery at Fisherman's Wharf. The home of Engine Company 33 from 1896 to 1974 was The Old Firehouse. This Firehouse had two horses, a steamer, a Dalmatian and a rotating crew of firefighters from 1896 until 1921. The Firehouse was one of the last two San Francisco firehouses to become motorized. In 1974, the doors became too small for the bigger fire engines and they built a new 33 around the corner.

Loved the campy humor and songs. The guides were definitely performers and loved what they were doing. Riding through the City and actually getting to SEE the buildings, which you usually don't get to do when driving, was a nice change. Also going across the Golden Gate Bridge on the old fire engine was definitely an experience!
