San Francisco Schooner Brunch For TwoUnwind on the San Francisco Bay with a Guest on a Three Hour Sail 17 Reviews
Price for 2 participants
Sail along San Francisco and enjoy a delicious brunch on the Bay Lady. Patterned after the famous Maine Coastal Schooners that plied the sailing trade on the Eastern seaboard, the 90-foot wooden replica captures the beauty and elegance of the original. Gliding over the San Francisco Bay, watch the incredible views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and Angel Island. Look up and see the famous Transamerica building and Coit Tower. While embracing the serene atmosphere and calming wind, delight in a complimentary brunch served by the professional Captain and friendly crew. The Bay Lady creates a wonderful afternoon to relax and appreciate picturesque San Francisco.

I loved the schooner brunch! It was so much fun and the weather was amazing! We showed up at the designated time and were promptly led onto the boat. The skipper and his crew explained the day's schedule and then we were off. The brunch was light fare with lots of bagels, pastries, fruit, and sandwich goods. They also had tons of drinks on board and we were definitely satisfied with the food. Once we were out of the marina area, they released the sails with some willing participants among the guests (me and my bf included) and we got great views of Alcatraz, the city itself, and Marin county. It was such a great day! Some tips though: definitely bring a friend or two, don't forget the sunblock even if it's overcast, and definitely bring a jacket because it does get chilly in the open sea. Also parking is scarce so public transportation is the way to go.

The crew was very friendly and were available throughout the trip to answer questions and to talk about sailing. The brunch was ok. Not a big selection and they ran out of some items before all the participants got through the line. I would have liked to sail around Alcatraz, or at least to get a little closer, but since the fog was thick at that part of the bay, I guess it made sense not go there.

We enjoyed the day so much. The crew was wonderful & the brunch was good. Overall it was an exceptional experience. We plan on going again and taking friends with us.

We loved our 3-hour cruise on the bay! The boat was perfect, the crew competent and friendly, and the day on the water was truly, truly lovely. I will recommend that brunch cruise to friends and family who visit the Bay Area.

The boat, crew, weather, scenery was great! The brunch was really mediocre. I would bring my own food next time. Get a group of friends or family together, have it catered and have a blast!

The Sunday morning Schooner Brunch was cancelled because the company had to 'take the boat down.' I don't know why they would to take the boat down on a day they had a cruise scheduled. I had to switch to the Saturday sunset cruise. It was nice, but not what I really wanted.

I'm writing this review as a date with my wife. The overall cruise was relaxing, simple, and semi-romantic. There is limited space to serve the simple brunch of make-your-own andwiches, chips, veggies, and whole fruit. Note: my only surprise was paying for drinks - i thought brunch would include something. But honestly - I was here to be with my wife and enjoy some time together - we were able to talk and dream build - we were able to align and set goals for ourselves we were able to take a 'power nap' on board we were able to spend this time and put our relationship first... enough said.

Great beautiful trip - shouln't say BRUNCH though - food was deli - but we didn't go for the food - scenic, great crew and captain. FUN, planning to do it again!!

Had a great time. The whole process was easy and accomodating. Would go again and will use this company again. I suggest this trip to anyone who wants a relaxing time.

We picked a beautiful day to do the schooner brunch cruise. The ship was lots of fun, and it was great to watch the crew raise and lower the sails. Be sure to wear something warm and comfortable, and bring extra cash for drinks. Also, the brunch was good, but not very 'special': fruit, veggie tray, cold cuts, bagels, etc. Guess there's no room for food prep on this boat. Overall, it was a fun ride with amazing views of the city and the bay.

It was a great ride. I felt the brunch was plentiful and adequate for the price. It would have been nice to have food available during actual sailing too. We loved getting a totally new view of the San Francisco skyline. It was nice to view it at the slow and quiet pace of a schooner. Dress warm and expect a breeze and you will enjoy it.

Sailing was awesome. Would have liked a wider choice of days and times to sail as 11 A.M. in SF is almost always sunny. Food was OK, but was a good price for a 3 hour sail.

The sailing experience was awesome! I enjoyed watching the crew at work putting up the sails and going fast was exhilarating! The 'brunch' as others said, was disappointing. I wasn't expecting cold cuts/bagels and cream cheese. I was thinking more like eggs, bacon, toast and a glass of champagne. This was more like a continental breakfast/picnic. I would, however, definitely recommend it!

It was great fun! The crew was friendly, the weather was very comfortable, the scenery was spectacular. The brunch was more picnic, but that's OK. We hated to have it end could have sailed all afternoon - it was so relaxing. I would definitely do it again.

My wife and I loved it! The sailing was great. To be out on the bay was wonderful. Started out overcast, but turned out to be a very nice day. I would do it again with out of towners to show them S.F. I would step up the food a notch or two if it was me, but with the limited space to serve it was understandable.

It would've been nicer if the weather was a bit warmer. I was expecting something more romantic for our brunch like complementary Mimosas and strawberries, etc.
