Explore remote islands of San Juan during a full day kayak tour for two. On the tour, you may see Orca Whales, Minke Whales, Harbor and Dall's Porpoises, Seals, River Otters and a variety of birdlife ranging from Auklets to Herons, maybe even a Bald Eagle. Your knowledgeable guide will meet you and your guest in Friday Harbor on San Juan Island before driving to the launch site located on the west side of San Juan Island.

After a thorough orientation covering the kayak, paddling techniques, safety and boat handling, you and your guest will head north kayaking along the west side of San Juan Island enjoying views of the Olympic Mountain range and Vancouver Island. After paddling for a couple of hours, you will stop for  a tastefully prepared lunch which may include pita bread, hummus, bagels and cream cheese, fruit and cookies.  After lunch, you will continue exploring the western shores of San Juan Island before heading back to Friday Harbor as the sun begins to set on the horizon.

If you are looking for a beautiful time on the pristine seas of the San Juan, this full day kayak tour is a wonderful adventure to share!

Awesome! Loved the guides, beautiful place, overall awesome experience!

Question: My husband and I are scheduled for the San Juan Sea Kayaking Tour for Two. I always sit in front and he sits in the back and slacks off and I end up doing all of the paddling. Do we have to go tandem or can we each get our own kayak?

Answer: You will each have your own kayak. If you'd like a tandem kayak you must request it when booking your reservation. If you do decide to use a double kayak be sure to ask your guide about local divorce lawyers.

Question: Is there any place to camp nearby?

Answer: Yes, there are two campgrounds in the area: San Juan County Park and Lakedale Campground. Shuttles and Taxis are available at both and you'll want to be sure to call ahead and make reservations before you arrive to insure you'll have a spot.

Question: Is the lunch vegetarian friendly?

Answer: Very. Red meat is never served. Occasionally they will offer smoked salmon or turkey sandwiches but everything else is vegetarian.

Question: How far do we kayak?

Answer: It varies, but figure an average of 7-10 miles per day with 12 miles the maximum. The tours are geared for novices and intermediate paddlers, so they're not striving for distance.
