This tour exposes participants to some of Lake Tahoe’s most pristine natural beauty. The Sand Harbor kayaking tour begins at Sand Harbor Beach near Incline Village, NV on the Northeast shore of Lake Tahoe. Expert guides will lead you through the warmer waters of the East shore, past large boulders that jut out of the water, and around white granite rocks. You will stop for lunch on a beautiful north shore beach before heading back to Sand Harbor. This is a great way to spend time on the water and enjoy the beautiful outdoors.
Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form.

Kayaking was a very nice and relaxing trip. The pace was not too challenging which allowed for enjoyment of the silence of the waters and beautiful views. The East Coast waters are beautifully turquoise. However, the tour took 5 and not 3 hours as specified!

Great Experience Gift!
On Sunday, July 28, 2009, my boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience with Tahoe City Kayak. We both recently moved to Sacramento from NY and were excited to visit Lake Tahoe for the first time. I had previously purchased the 'Sand Harbor Kayak Trip for Two' from Xperience Days as an anniversary present and was very anxious for this trip. When we arrived at Sand Harbor, we were amazed with the beauty of the area. We were even more amazed by the easy, fun and informative trip provided by our guide, Carl. Carl accommodated our small group (we were joined by an amateur photographer/dentist from Los Angeles, who was far more experienced with kayaking) in a way that enabled everyone to go at their own pace without frustrating others in the group. He was attentive, cheerful and offered the experience of a lifetime. While we would've appreciated the beauty of our trip regardless the activities we chose, it would not have been anywhere near as special without his guidance. The excursion was completely unhurried, with plenty of time for sightseeing, lunch and swimming. Carl infused our tour with fun and educational information about the area and the various points of interest that we passed. We spent the entire trip laughing and joking and while I found kayaking to be strenuous, it was ALWAYS enjoyable and fun. THANK YOU!!!!!
