Discover the fun of flying a plane! During this exciting experience gift you will discover firsthand the thrill of flying a light aircraft during this 30 minute First Flight Lesson in Sarasota, Florida.

Your airborne adventure begins when you meet with your Certified Flight Instructor at the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport. The Pilot will escort you on to the tarmac where you will participate in the preflight safety check of the Sport Plane. Once ready, its chocks away as the Pilot taxies the plane down the runway and takes-off into the Southern Florida skies. During the flight you will have the opportunity to take over the controls and actually fly the plane!

So whether you have always wanted to learn to fly or you are looking for a unique gift, this Florida Flight Lesson is the ticket!

Who
The Sarasota Discovery Flying Lesson Xperience Certificate® is for one participant.

Guests
This experience is not suitable for guests. However, spectators may join you at the airport.

When
The Flight Lesson In Sarasota is offered seven days a week year-round, subject to availability. Flights may be scheduled between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

Duration
The Discovery Flight Lesson includes 5 to 10 minutes of ground instruction and 30 to 40 minutes of flight time with a total duration of approximately 50 minutes.

Weather
The Florida Flying Lesson may be rescheduled by the Instructor due to severe weather such as high winds, fog or heavy rain.

What to wear
Dress comfortably, layers and flat rubber-soled athletic shoes are recommended for this aerial adventure.

Additional Information
The Flight Lesson will take place in either a Cessna or a Light Sport Aircraft. Participation is limited to individuals weighing less than 260lbs. Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe conditions are not eligible to participate.

Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form prior to flight. If the participant is under the age of 18 a parent or guardian will need to sign the form prior to participation.

Cancellation Policy
All changes to reservations for the Sarasota Introductory Flight Lesson require seven (7) days advance notice.

Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.
