We picked the worst day to be out there cold and rainy! The trip was delayed 20 minutes which worked out pretty well because the rain stopped but it was still cold and wet. However I commend the crew for making the best of a bad situation and once we all had our blankets on and were out in the water with our drinks all was forgotten and the weather warmed up. So overall it was a good experience.
- Margaret O'Keeffe - NYC, Wednesday, October 10, 2012

- Daniel Seidman - new York, Wednesday, September 12, 2012
I have to say I had images of it being choppy out there and that I would be thrown about within the yacht, however, I could not be more wrong. Once they turned off the engine and set up the sails it was plain sailing from that point on. I found this to be very relaxing and watching the sun set over the Hudson river was just beautiful. As a budding photographer I had ample amount of opportunities to get snap happy. I would highly recommend this to anyone as it was a highlight of my holiday as it exceeded all expectations.
- Mr Garry Foulkes - Brighton, England, Wednesday, August 29, 2012

- Jenn & Dave - Middlesex NJ, Wednesday, August 22, 2012
It was a fun sail, we especially liked that our captain made it a 'real' sail with some keeling. Great crew. Thanks!
- Franzi - New York, Wednesday, August 08, 2012
Great experience! My boyfriend received this as a gift and we had a wonderful time. We even discussed giving this as a present to his parents. The staff/crew was more than nice and accommodating - we just wish it were longer!
- Rose Albert - NYC, Thursday, July 26, 2012
Absolutley a wonderful experience. Crew knowledgeable and courteous, the boat comfortable and clean and the 2 hour sail was fantastic. Loved all the side-sailing during the 1st hour and a smooth ride the 2nd hour. I would recommend highly and plan to sail again next summer.

A wonderful afternoon of sailing on a two masted schooner on the Hudson. An exceptionallly friendly crew made for a great experience!
- Jon Rayner - St Louis, Tuesday, October 25, 2011
Excellent Experience. The Captain (Joe Connor) handled the vessel with expertise in high wind and heavy boat traffic. Crew was freindly and helpful. Would highly recommend.
- Michael Mulligan - NYC, Monday, October 24, 2011
I suggest that the sail boat go out as far as Verrazono Bridge rather than duplicating the same area in circles. Alternatively go up the Hudson beyond 34th Street. Also, in addition to complimentary beer and soda, offer wine as well.
- bob huhem - NYC, Monday, October 10, 2011
The entire experience was wonderful. The crew headed by Captain Andrew were amazing. They made you feel comfortable and at home. Will recommend this cruise to everyone. Looking forward to getting a bunch of friends together for a cruise.
- Angela DeMarco - Chelsea Pires, NYC, Monday, October 10, 2011
Good crew, good boat, beautiful views. The trip is a little short.
- Chris - New York City, Thursday, October 06, 2011
Would be better as a sunset sail like we did the previous year - also the previous year wine and champaign were included and this year crappy canned beer that was undrinkable as it tasted like it was chilled and then heated several times and the brand was awful for the money the trip cost.
- Donald Schweter - NYC, Monday, October 03, 2011
The America 2 which was supposed to be the ship we were scheduled for was grounded due to low tide. We were moved over to the Adirondack which left 30 min later. The ride with the new Capt and crew wqas exceptional. Very cordial, polite and attentive to everyone's needs. Very nice and I would recommend to anyone. Had a very good experience.
- Nathaniel Campbell - NYC Chelsea Pier 61, Wednesday, September 28, 2011
We changed to 3:30 pm, Monday, Sept 26 due to inclement weather on the Friday before. What a wonderful time we had. The Captain and her crew couldn't have been better. We really enjoyed the sail and would recommend the experience to everyone.
- Richard & Carol Constant - Chelsea Piers, Tuesday, September 27, 2011
We had a great time and would definitely recommend it. Only suggestion is I think wine should have been included (we are not beer drinkers).
- Joe - NY, Tuesday, September 27, 2011
The boat was beautiful people wonderful. Most of the time out we had rain and my husband hates the rain. The rain was miserable so that ruined the trip couldn't wait to get back.

My husband and I enjoyed the trip. Crew was polite. We felt the tour could have used a better naration of the views.
- Michele - New York, Tuesday, October 19, 2010
To begin with, when we arrived they did not have our names listed although we had made the reservation weeks earlier and had our confirmation with us. They did get us on the next schooner but with no apology for the error. Beer and wine were offered. I gave the guy $10 for a $5 glass of wine and he never returned with the change. Finally except for a short safety speech when we began, for the entire 2 hours the crew said nothing. Very unfriendly.
- Irene and Paul Gillert - NYC, Sunday, October 10, 2010

Had a wonderful experience on the Adirondack. Recommend it for all age groups. We brought along a picnic supper and enjoyed the complimentary wine or beer. The crew went out of their way to make us comfortable even with a few showers that popped up.
- Block - NYC, Thursday, August 19, 2010
I gifted this experience to my boyfriend on his birthday and it was the best time we've had to date. The views were breathtaking. It was a very relaxing, romantic evening completed by a beautiful sunset! The crew was amazing and they made the experience tons of fun! Cannot wait to go back. Thank you for an amazing experience!

- Amsterdam 1 - Chelsea Pier, Monday, August 02, 2010
We had a perfect evening sail. Weather was great wind was up and the crew was great! Recommend this trip for anyone. Unfortunately we didnt get to sail up the East River to the Brooklyn Bridge but we were under sail for the majority of the trip.
- Jim - New Jersey, Wednesday, June 30, 2010
Three things stood out in this experience: 1. the sail, the captain, and the crew were wonderful 2. the woman who checked me in and gave me the boarding pass was such a help. The other person scheduled for this sail was sick on the day and unable to come. This woman said she would take care of that so that the sick person could come back and take her sail at a later time. That really made the entire experience for me since illness was not under any of our control. 3. the overhead helicopters are a real noise pollution. The winds were great, the sail was wonderful but you could not enjoy the quiet of a sailboat because of the helicopters. I know you have NO control over this but ... you asked. Thank you.
- Barbara Mooney - New York City, Monday, May 17, 2010
Absolutely a wonderful sail, crew was friendly and accomadating. Was a beautiful day which I am sure added to our enjoyment.
- William Krouse - New York, Wednesday, October 14, 2009
My husband and I had an amazing time on the boat. The crew was awesome! We had never seen the city from the water before and it was great. I would tell other family and friends to give it a try.
- Joelene - New Providence, NJ, Tuesday, October 06, 2009
Very nice sail, the crew was absolutely fantastic!!
- Chad - Florida, Tuesday, October 06, 2009
My wife and I were given this adventure as a Chrismas gift 2008 and were finally able to redeem and enjoy. Crew was excellent, weather was perfect, waters were calm. We've already a few people we wish to give this as a gift to. Great day on the Hudson.
- Paul - New Jersey, Tuesday, September 22, 2009
Both My wife and I were very pleased with the Capt and crew. One of the customer's hat went into the water. the Capt. was kind enough to swing the boat around and hook it. The trip was and peacfull with all the NY city sites all around us.
- Jack Scotto - Chelsea Piers, Tuesday, August 25, 2009
My husband and I joined our friends for a lovely sunset sail on the Hudson and were very pleased with the captain and the crew. The sail was very beautiful and relaxing and the crew made a point of making sure everyone was satified and had a great time. When the sails were hoisted and the engine turned off - it was one of the most peaceful moments anyone could experience. We would love to do it again! Highly recommended and a great value!
- Michele - Colonia, NJ, Monday, August 24, 2009
The Schooner trip was remarkable. The crew and Captain were welcoming and inviting. Above all they loved what they do. I recommend everyone see the city from the Hudson. It brings a new light to the city. Additionally the last sail gave us the opportunity to see the sun glistening low on the water. Absolutely stunning!
- Kara - New York, Tuesday, August 18, 2009
Pros: Crew was nice and went out of their way for us. Cons: Very limited sights - should have went under the Brooklyn bridge at least. Sailing uses sails - and while this was done, the boat was under engine power 75% of the time. If you've never seen NY before it's good. But for those of us who live close, it's a waste of time.
- Scott Sherman - New Jersey, Monday, August 17, 2009
The was a great experience. The views were fantastic. The captain and crew were first rate. They could not do enough for us. My wife and I enjoyed it so much we have recommended the trip to others and intend to take the trip again.
- Thomas Smith - New York Harbor, Friday, August 07, 2009

After a month of constant rain, we had the only three hours of sun and wind... perfect conditions for a few hours on the Hudson. Tom, Kate, and Chad did everything right to make my son and I feel comfortable, relaxed, and welcome. Great gift from my brother and his family! Thanks!
- Julie - Rye, NY, Monday, June 29, 2009

- Patricia Jacobowitz - NY Harbor, Sunday, September 28, 2008
Being a New Yorker (born in Manhattan) I am almost naturally suspicious of everything and everyone. It seems like most things are a scam and everyone is just trying to get your money. However, I couldn't be more pleased with my experience sailing on the Adirondack. Not only was the crew and Captain extremely professional as well as friendly, but those 2 hours became like a second honeymoon for us. With busy lifestyles, heavy work schedules, kids, pets, mortgage, etc... it seems like we never get a chance just to be together without something being on our minds or the phone ringing. We fell in love with each other all over again. It was like the very best first date a couple could ever have. Thank you so much for offering this beautiful experience!
- Larry - NYC, Wednesday, August 20, 2008
My trip on the Adirondack was absolutely fabulous! I would (already have) recommended this experience to family and friends. The hospitality and friendliness of the crew was amazing. This may have been my first but definitely not my last. Thank you for a wonderful day on the water!
- Corinne Campasano - Chelsea Piers, Tuesday, August 19, 2008

The view from the Schooner was truely relaxing and beautiful. The crew was very polite and I would certainly take another trip on the boat.
- Dwight - Memphis, Tuesday, July 29, 2008
I gave this Xperience to my husband as a Christmas gift, and we decided to use it on a very hot day. It was the absolute best place to be. The boat was beautiful and comfortable, the crew was friendly and attentive, our ship mates were really nice, the captain was lovely and allowed my husband to pilot the boat for a good long time. This was one of the best 'mini-vacations' we could have taken. Thanks so much!
- Tracey Lawrence - Ringwood, NJ, Tuesday, July 22, 2008
'The view from the Schooner was amazing...very beautiful. The clues provided great customer service, and took care of us and tried to keep comfortable environments and moods. That is outstanding..... Experiencing on the Schooner would be one of the best New York Experience. I will definitely recommend to other people. Thank you!'
