The Seattle Whale Watching Tours offered seven days a week April to October, subject to availability. Sails typically depart Seattle at 10:30 AM and return to Seattle between 3:30 PM and 5:30 PM.

Great Crew

The crew did an amazing job of getting all passengers aboard in time to see a pod of whales headed to the furthest west boundaries of the touring waters. All passengers were given opportunity to view the whales without obstruction from other passengers, hot chocolate and coats were also made available, and all questions were addressed by nature experts. Terrific experience!

Question: I was thinking of purchasing the whale watching cruise for my brother, who uses a wheelchair. Are these cruises handicapped accessible?

Answer: Yes, the whale watching cruise ship complies with ADA standards.
Question: I am thinking of purchasing this experience for a wedding present. What could possibly prevent someone from getting into Canada?

Answer: Felonies could prevent you from entering Canada. This means anything that’s considered a felony in Canada, even if it’s not a felony in the US (such as a DUI/DWI). Even though these may not be considered felonies in the United States, a DUI/DWI could result in being denied entrance into Canada.
Question: My wife and I were gifted this experience but we will need to drive into Seattle. Is there parking nearby an how early should we arrive to board the ship?

Answer: The Cruise company recommends you arrive at least an hour early for the tour. There is a parking garage right next to the terminal. Be sure to keep your ticket stub for a discount when you leave. You will receive more detailed information on your confirmation.
Question: I am considering an "experience" gift for my daughter and her fiance who are both graduating from college next month. I like the idea of this day long package. Are food and beverages available on the boats or at the terminals? Can they bring food and beverages aboard?

Answer: The Clipper Café, is conveniently located in the ticketing area at Pier 69, Seattle. Fresh roasted coffee as well as hot and cold breakfasts, soups, salads, sandwiches, etc. are available for eating in prior to departure or all items may be made to go if you would prefer to take with you to enjoy onboard. The Clipper Café is open daily, 6am – 3pm. On board the vessels, the Victoria Clipper Menu offers a variety of food and non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages available for purchase. You may also bring other food onboard, but no outside alcohol is allowed. Onboard the Victoria Clipper, purchases may be made with Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover Card. We do not accept cash, checks or debit cards requiring a PIN.
Question: Can you stay overnight in Victoria or is this only offered as a day cruise from Seattle to Victoria BC?

Answer: The Seattle to Victoria Trip and Whale Watching is a day cruise. Passengers must return to Seattle on the same day as they depart for this Seattle Whale Watching excursion.
