Boston Gliders did everything to make us first-timers feel comfortable with the segway. The safety video is a joke and they even know that, but they have to show it. Then the team gives you a real course in safety and usage and allows you to play around and get comfortable using it before anyone leaves their yard. 'Captain Jimbo' (do request him if possible - he's a blast) was an excelllent guide and put my mom (in her 60's) at ease with riding around Boston on it. He gave us tid bits of history, but did not talk to the point of boring us. He let us stop to take pictures and showed us some great places to do so.
We all want to go back and do the longer tour in the Spring.

The tour was fabulous and so much fun. I thought it would be hard to run a Segway, but it was so easy! Loved it.
