Don your flying cap, climb onto the wing of your Boeing PT-17 Stearman and into the front seat, chocks away and this beautiful trip into a bygone era begins.

For approximately 20 minutes the two of you, sat side by side in the front seat, will get to know how the pioneers of flight felt as you are taken over the fields, hills and bays of stunning Southern Sonoma. This nostalgic flying experience is the only way to really appreciate the freedom of the skies in this wonderful classic aircraft.

The Scenic Biplane Flight In Sonoma Experience is is offered Thursday thru Monday, year-round, subject to availability. Weekday flights are available from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM by appointment only. Weekend flights have open availability from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Duration
The Scenic Biplane Flight In Sonoma Experience has a flight time of approximately 20 minutes and a total duration of approximately 40 minutes.

Weather
The Scenic Biplane Flight In Sonoma Experience may be cancelled by the Pilot due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather.

What to wear
Dress comfortably, flat rubber-soled shoes and layers are recommended for this open-cockpit adventure.

Additional Information
The Boeing PT-17 Stearman was the first aircraft a cadet would fly during flight training prior to and during World War ll. Known for its stability and strength, the Stearman was a reliable primary trainer and remains a popular classic today. Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form prior to flight.

Participants will sit side by side in the Stearman. The width of this space for both participants is approximately 35" and will fit two medium build passengers.
