Learn to fly a plane over the City of Phoenix! Climb into a Cessna 172 and experience the thrill of taking over the controls of a light aircraft during this 30 minute hands on introductory flight lesson.

You will soar 5,000 feet over picturesque Phoenix, as you watch the magnificent Arizona sun set in a light aircraft. Before the fun begins, receive a briefing from your Instructor on the techniques and safety aspects of light aircraft flying. After your initial instruction, hop into the co-pilot's seat and prepare for takeoff with a Certified Flight Instructor by your side at all times. During your flight lesson, fly directly over Sky Harbor International Airport where you can watch all of the airplanes on the ground prepare for take off! Then, fly over Phoenix and enjoy the amazing views of the City at dusk. Whether you are looking to begin a new hobby or you are simply interested feeling what it is like to fly a plane, this experience will be unforgettable!

You may invite one guest to join you on your flight.

When
The Sunset Discovery Flight Lesson In Phoenix Experience is offered seven days a week, year-round, subject to availability. Flights typically begin an hour prior to sunset.

Duration
The Sunset Discovery Flight Lesson In Phoenix Experience includes a 30 minute ground lesson, a flight time of approximately 45 minutes and a total duration of approximately 1½ hours.

Weather
The Sunset Discovery Flight Lesson In Phoenix Experience may be rescheduled by the Instructor due to severe weather such as high winds, fog or rain.

What to wear
Dress comfortably, layers and flat rubber-soled athletic shoes are recommended for this aerial adventure.

Additional Information
Participants may not exceed 250lbs. Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered by the Instructor to be unsafe conditions are not eligible to participate.

All Pilots are Certified Flight Instructors and are accident and incident free; the company has a 100% safety record.

Participants are required to show a valid form of ID and they will be required to sign a Liability Release Form. If the participant is under the age of 18, a parent or guardian will need to sign the form prior to participation.

Students are able to log the flight time toward their pilot certificate.

Cancellation Policy
All changes to reservations for the Sunset Discovery Flight Lesson In Phoenix Experience require seven (7) days advance notice.

Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.

Sunset Discovery Flight Lesson

It was awesome. The instructor was great, it was a very hands on lesson and the scenery was beautiful. I would love to do it again but the next time I will do a daytime flight to see the difference from flying at night and during the day.
