Leap from a plane approximately 2½ miles above the Delaware Valley and freefall for 60 seconds above one of the most stunning views on earth.

After a briefing on training and safety, you will completely understand the equipment and the sequence of events. You and your jumpmaster will board the aircraft wearing a dual harness assembly. Once you reach your jump altitude you will exit the aircraft securely harnessed to your instructor for an unbelievable freefall at 120 M.P.H!

After your parachute opens you will have a scenic 4 to 6 minute parachute ride. Because your instructor is with you all the way to landing, there is no need for you to worry about anything during your jump except to remember to relax and have fun. Your instructor will take care of everything which will allow you to completely enjoy yourself.

Who
This Tandem Skydive Philadelphia Xperience Certificate® is for one participant. You may be joined by up to ten additional participants.

Guests
This experience is not suitable for non-paying guests.

When
The Tandem Skydive Philadelphia Experience is offered seven days a week, year-round, subject to availability. Reservations are typically scheduled between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

Duration
The Tandem Skydive Philadelphia Experience includes a 70 second freefall with a 4 to 6 minute parachute ride and a total duration of approximately 2 hours.

Weather
The Tandem Skydive Philadelphia Experience may be cancelled due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather.

What to wear
Dress comfortably, flat rubber-soled shoes and layers are recommended for this adventure. You will be provided with a jump-suit to wear during the experience.

Additional Information
Participants must be over the age of 18 years old, I.D. is required for participation. Participation is limited to individuals weighing less than 250lbs. Participants over 220lbs must pay an additional $2.00 per pound upon arrival.

All jumpmasters and instructors have current USPA ratings and flight medicals on file. All staff members are professionals, chosen for their commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form prior to flight.

Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.

My Jump!!!

I had a blast everyone was wonderful. As soon as we got there everyone was extremley welcoming and made us feel comfortable. I went on a wednesday so there wasnt that many other jumpers! I would recommend this to anyone interested in skydiving. Also they offer a video package and its well worth it!!

Expect a Long Wait

I surprised my boyfriend with a skydiving adventure and due to rain, we cancelled on July 10th, 2010. Good thing, because when we re-scheduled for Sunday, July 11th, we heard stories of people who had waited 2 and 3 hours the day before and came back only to wait another 5 or 6 hours before actually jumping. I would recommend scheduling for a week day, if possible, since they seemed to be extremely busy on the Sunday we went (after a rainy Saturday and everyone getting bumped to the following day). We had a 2 pm appointment, we didn't get called to get into our harness and training until around 6 pm. Then there was another half hour wait until we boarded the plane and actually jumped. The instructors and entire team are very helpful, informative and make you feel extremely safe. I would highly recommend it, but on a weekend, please consider that you will be taking your entire day for this activity, not just the 2 or 3 hours this website states. Also, the other piece of information that is incorrect is that 'this activity is not suitable for non-paying guests' is incorrect. There are several places for your family or friends to hang out while you wait and they can even watch your parachute and landing. There is a tent right outside the registration window and a snack bar with outside seating under a tent that also has great visibility for watching the planes take out and the jumpers parachute down.

Skydive

This was a great experience. I highly recommend it to all adrenaline seekers. The total time was about 3 hrs which seems to be the norm. Well worth it.

Skydiving

I went skydiving on June 27,2009. Jimmy was my instructor and Brian was the photographer. They were both excellent and could not have been nicer. Jimmy got me all strapped in and went over things with me, introduced me to Brian. Some people in my group didn't meet their partner until right before we boarded the plane. I appreciated that Jimmy took the extra time. Jimmy was GREAT and Brian's pictures were awesome.

Skydiving

This was one of the greatest Xperience of my life so far!!! The process went by so quickly that the next thing I knew I was jumping off the plane! It was awesome!!! The process goes by quicker if you're there during a weekday instead of Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. We were there on a Tuesday and it was GREAT!!! Just wished the picture/video package didn't cost so much, but other than that the Xperience was awesome, fantastic, and exhilirating!!! Can't wait to go next year.

Great Jump - Horrible Wait

You really have to segment this experience to be fair: the jump and the logistics. The jump was amazing the staff could not be more friendly and helpful and just really a lot of fun. They walk you through everything and despite probably jumping hundreds of times they really understand your excitement and share in it with you. The logistics are atrocious. The process for checking in and getting the paperwork filled out is inefficient and then, because they know the experience is worth it, they just make you wait without any regard for your appointment time. You wait anywhere from 2-6 hours from your actual appointment time. Many of the participants there on the day I jumped were very angry, but there was no sympathy from the staff that process the customers. (Remember, the skydive staff are awesome and separate from the 'front of house' staff - this review is no reflection on actual skydive teams).

Skydive

It was my first experience and one that I will never forget. Joe, my instructor was wonderful. He made me feel very relaxed and safe. Yes, I will jump again.
