This exciting day at the Track provides racing fans and thrill seekers alike with the opportunity to sit in a genuine 500-plus horsepower Sprint Cup style racecar for four thrilling laps at Texas Motor Speedway!

The fun begins when you arrive at this famous NASCAR Track and head out to Pit Lane where you will check-in with Team Texas and get suited up. Next you will receive an overview of the safety procedures and learn everything you need to know to prepare for this high-speed experience gift. When it’s your turn, you will climb through the window of the racecar and be strapped into the five-point harness. Once you're ready, the professional Driver will rev the engine, in anticipation for the green flag. When that flag waves, it's time to put the pedal to the metal. The driver will exit Pit Lane and speed out onto the race track for four heart-pounding laps.

So whether you're a NASCAR fan and have always wanted to discover what it is like to be on the track for yourself or you simply feel the need for speed, this Racecar Ride Along is the ticket and is a thrilling unique gift!

How Long Is It

The NASCAR Stockcar Ride Along includes 4 Laps as a passenger and has a total duration of approximately 1 hour, unless an Additional Lap Package is added.

Weather

The Stockcar Rides may be rescheduled by the Instructor due to severe weather conditions. If a reservation is cancelled due to weather, you will receive a rain-check valid towards another reservation. The rain-check is non-refundable.

What To Wear

Clothing you will be comfortable wearing underneath a racing suit; and flat rubber soled shoes (such as sneakers) with socks are required. Boots and hiking shoes are not permitted. You will be provided with all safety gear necessary.

Participation is limited to individuals who are less than 300lbs, are at leas 16 years old with a Photo ID to show proof of age, and have the ability 1) to climb through a 15" high by 30" wide window that sits 36" from the ground 2) wear a driving suit: sizes S – 3XL.

Participants will be buckled into the passenger seat of a Stock Car. The driver will reach speeds up to 160 MPH and perform maneuvers like drafting, passing and side by side.

Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe in racing conditions are not eligible to participate.

Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form.

All changes to reservations for the Texas Motor Speedway NASCAR Ride Experience require thirty-five (35) days advance notice. Changes to reservations are subject to a $75.00 administrative fee.

No changes can be made to reservations within 35 days of the scheduled reservation. Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.

Three Lap Ride-Along

The ride itself was awesome !!! The only problems I had was upon entering the track property there were no signs to direct us to the infield. I stopped at the office building and had to ask for direction. The check-in crew seemed a little unorganized, which resulted in me not getting my souvenier photo in the driving suit. Overall the staff were friendly and courteous. I'll definitely recommend this and will do it again! Thanks.

The track guys are great!! The check-in process had a lot to be desired. I have never been and they acted like I should know where to go. Don't buy the photo. We had to wait 30 minutes for the person to show up and they would not let me wait with the suit on. The actual ride was a great experience.

My biggest aprehension was fear, but once buckled in by your staff and starting off pit road with your driver, Dave, fear never crossed my mind. The ride was awesome, and left me wanting more. Kudos to the entire staff who ALL continuously showed concern for making sure I was happy with the ride & time I spent with y'all.

Loved it, but it was over way too soon. I think I would have liked more instruction before, maybe a break in the middle to recover and asses next steps and then continue for a grand finale. Thanks for a great experience!

Question: What happens if it rains on the date of my reservation?

Answer: Reservations which must be cancelled due to weather can be rescheduled in accordance with the terms of the Rain Check given. Safety is the priority; and all decisions to cancel an event are made by the Racing School.
