The Kayaking Lesson begins on the warm waters of Yough Lake, and finishes at Ram Cat Rapid on the Middle Yough, or lower Castleman River. The course is for the first time or recreational kayaker looking to cross over to the world of white water. Just about anyone can paddle a kayak successfully after just a short orientation and have a great time. However, to paddle safely and confidently in all waters requires considerably more skill and knowledge. This Kayaking Instruction is all about learning proper strokes and techniques in mild whitewater. Whether you are looking for an Outdoor Adventure or to begin a new hobby, this thrilling Kayak Adventure in Ohiopyle State Park is the perfect experience.
Purchase price includes equipment, transportation, instruction and lunch. Lunch is offered in the cafe. Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered by the Instructor to be unsafe conditions are not eligible to participate. Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form.
