This was an introductory course to wine tasting, matching, basics of enjoying wine/language to describe the taste/other quality about wine held at NYC Winecompany. The lecturer is very knowledgable but also fun and succinct-the cheese that they pair with the wines were excellent as well. I went with my date and had a great time and recommend it to anyone who enjoys wine and want to learn the basics about wine to enrich their drinking life.

Gave my husband this experience for Valentines Day. We had a great time, the wines were great as so were the cheeses offered. I actually commented with a couple of friends the day after the tasting on how much fun my husband and I had and agreed that we should all do it together soon.

It was a good night out. My wife and I were celebrating our 5 year anniversary. We got a babysitter and headed to the city. The information was great. Very informative and the instructor and server were great also. My only complaints were that in the ad it said 10 to 20 wines. There were only 10. It also said a variety of meats and cheeses. There were only 5 slices of cheese per person and 4 small slices of meat for the both of us. Lots of bread. The wines were good but i was expecting better. The wines ranged from $10 to $35. The teacher told us the cost. Not really impressive. The ambiance was a little dull. No music. no candles, and really not art on the walls either. The drapes were closed and and the room was cooled by a portable air conditioner. It was a good night. It could have been a great night.

This event was pleasant, but way over my and my husbands heads. We were sort of hoping this tasting was geared more toward beginners. It was really more suited for those that have atittle bit of knowledge on how to describe a wine. We could have used a clinic before going to this tasting. The coupling of the cheeses with the wine was nice. The staff was very nice and quiet knowledgable.

Go! This is fun and (dare I say?) educational! Great experience and will go again!
- Carole - W 23rd St NYC, Saturday, February 19, 2011

- Frank - NYC, Tuesday, November 30, 2010
The class was really fun and my wife and I learned a lot. Much more than we expected to. The teacher was really knowledgeable and the wine was absolutely amazing. He has several wines from regions in Europe we had never tried before so it was great to branch out and expand our wine experience. I would recommend this class to anyone who likes wine and wants to learn more about how and why different wines taste the way they do.

My girlfriend and I had a really nice time. Wine, cheeses, and especially the bread selection was fantastic. The staff was very nice and knowledgable. My only negative feedback was the late start (due to people arriving late) and the lack of complete control over some guests. Some guests were occasionally being loud and disruptive and needed to be reined in. Overall a great experience and would like to go back soon.

Both hubby and I had an enjoyable time tasting various wines and sampling some yummy cheeses. Andrew was knowledgeable and the staff was attentive. Highly recommend it!
- Rolando & Marisa - NYC, Tuesday, June 29, 2010
Well, we thought the overall experience allowed us to sample the wines with cheese, bread, etc. Interesting and noteworthy. Programatically, an issue related to starting the event on time existed. We waited an inordinate amount of time for several couples to arrive. Why should we all wait and delay the wine tasting experience when people are late for no appparent reason?
- Frank Nardone - NYC, Thursday, March 11, 2010
My husband and I truly enjoyed the wine tasting event. Andrew was very knowledgeable and the staff was very helpful. Pairing the wines with the various cheeses were great. We realized there is so much to learn and were very pleased with the experience. We would recommend this to our friends.

- CC - NJ, Monday, October 19, 2009
My wife and I along with another couple attended the wine tasting this past weekend and enjoyed the selections and cheese pairings very much. Andrew's depth and knowledge of wine making was extremely impressive. Our only criticism was that the class size seemed to large for him to handle. It really needed to be smaller, maybe 20 people, not 40.
- John - NYC, Tuesday, October 13, 2009
The selection of wines and cheeses was great. The lecturer seems very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the subject. My only criticism is that the presenters started 30 minutes late because half a dozen people walked in late.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the Wine Tasting 101 Class. We sat with a newly married couple whose company we enjoyed while tasing some very nice wines and cheeses, and while learning a great deal about wines. The atmosphere was relaxing. Andrew was both knowledgeable and passionate about wines. We enjoyed talking to him and the 'staff' for a while after eveyone left. This was a wonderful gift and we would highly recommend it. Until we meet again...

Both my husband and I had a wonderful time during our Wine Tasting Class. The staff was very informative and pleasant to talk to. We were very impressed with Andrew's knowledge of the grapes from the different region in Italy. We have recommended this to all of our friends.
