About This Experience

General Information hide

Don your flying caps, climb on to the wing of a Piper P28A and strap yourself in for this amazing Scenic Discovery Flight Lesson over Jesup, Georgia. Before the fun begins, you will receive a briefing from your Instructor on the techniques and safety aspects of light aircraft flying. After your ground instruction, you will hop into the co-pilot's seat and prepare for takeoff with a Certified Flight Instructor by your side at all times.

You and your guest will enjoy a bird’s eye view of Southeastern Georgia from 5,000 feet as you soar through the Georgia Skies. So, make sure your guests don't forget their camera! As you fly the plane over Jesup and the surrounding areas towards Savannah, they will have many opportunities to capture beautiful aerial photographs while enjoying a flight in this light aircraft.

Whether you are looking to begin a new hobby or you are simply interested a new and exciting adventure, you will not be disappointed!

Who Is Included hide

The Learn To Fly In Southeastern Georgia Experience Gifts Certificate is valid for one participant. This is a private flight lesson.

You may invite up to two additional guests to join you for the flight at no additional cost. The maximum combined weight for all passengers may not exceed 500 lbs.

When It Is Offered hide

The Southeastern Georgia Learn To Fly Experiences are offered Monday through Saturday, year-round, subject to availability. Flights may be scheduled between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

How Long Is It hide

The Learn To Fly Experiences include 30 minutes of ground instruction and have an average flight time of 30 minutes. The total duration for the experience is approximately 1½ hours.

Weather hide

The Southeastern Georgia Introductory Flight Lessons may be rescheduled by the Pilot due to severe weather such as high winds or heavy rain.

What To Wear hide

Dress comfortably, layers and flat rubber-soled athletic shoes are recommended for this aerial adventure.

Additional Information hide

Individuals, who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe conditions are not eligible to participate. The maximum combined weight of all passengers must not exceed 500 lbs.

All participants must have a valid photo ID (passport or driving license). Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form.

All participants must be United States Citizens.
