About This Experience

General Information hide

With this private one hour pottery lesson, you will receive one-on-one guided instruction as you turn wet clay into a sculpted art piece.  The transformation of this earthy mass into your very own masterpiece is an exciting and inspiring experience! During your private pottery class in Los Angeles, you will have the opportunity to learn the potter’s wheel and create your very own work of art.

From start to finish, your instructor will guide you through the creation of your ceramic art work.  Upon finishing your hand-sculpted piece, it’s time to fire up the kiln! You will place your piece into the kiln, where it will be fired to a bisque state.  Afterwards, you will return to the studio for approximately twenty minutes to glaze your piece.  In about two to three weeks, your masterpiece will be ready for pick-up!

If you are looking to begin a new hobby or you have always wanted to learn the art of pottery, this is one of the best one-on-one opportunities in Los Angeles to get your hands a little dirty and hand create your own beautiful work of art!
