The Underground Railroad Tours of New York are offered Wednesdays and Saturdays April to October; and on Saturdays October through March. Tours typically begin at 11:00 AM on Wednesdays and 1:00 PM on Saturdays.

How Long Is The NYC Underground Railroad Tour

The New York Tours are typically 2½ hours in length with a total duration of 2¾ hours.

Does Weather Impact City Tour Experiences

The New York Sightseeing Tours take place in all weather conditions.

What to Wear for City Tour Experiences

Dress comfortably. Flat walking shoes and layers are recommended for this walking adventure.

What To Know Before You Go

Tours include less than two miles of walking. All ages are welcome on the tour. Please keep in mind the subject matter may not be interesting to young children, and you will be standing or walking for two and a half hours. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Tours do not end at the meeting location.

There will be approximately 25–32 participants on the tour. The tour guide wears a portable microphone an speaker to ensure all participants can hear.

Tours do not run on on the following Holidays: Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

This tour is Wheelchair accessible. Service animals are allowed on the tour, however pets are not.

Gratuities are not included but are greatly appreciated and may be offered at the end of the event.
