This Beer Making Class in Brooklyn takes place at Bitter & Esters near the Brooklyn Museum in Prospect Park. The fun begins with a discussion about beer basics: malts, grains and yeasts. During the class you will learn how to avoid the most common problems home brewmasters face and troubleshoot a home brew batch. Your Instructor will provide you with all of the information you'll need to make the perfect beer. Plus, at the end of the class you will enjoy home brew samples for tasting!

After this beer making workshop is complete you will have the knowledge you need to begin making your own batch of beer at home. This unique Brooklyn Beer Experience is the perfect way to learn about beer and makes a unique gift for any beer enthusiast.

Dress comfortably, flat rubber-soled shoes are recommended for this culinary adventure. Flip-flops, high heels and dress-shoes are not recommended.

The Beer Making Workshop is run by Bitter & Esters who offers classes and supplies for both the beginner and advanced brewers. Starter kits are available for purchase following the class.

This experience includes beer tasting as a part of the experience. Participants must be 21 years of age or older and should be under no legal or medical restriction which would limit their right or ability to participate in beer tasting.
