Dinner Cruise Chicago

The food was okay but wish it would have been spectacular. We thought we were going on a romantic dinner cruise but the music was loud and definitaly not romantic. Still enjoyed each others company and kind staff.

The cruise was very nice the only negative thing I would say about it is our hostess didn't pay attention to the buffet to let people know they could go ahead and get their dinner. Most of the time there was no one at the buffet table and she was on another floor talking or talking to people on her floor instead of paying attention to the empty buffet table. People all around were very upset and complaining about not being let go to get their dinners. It was probably hear 9 pm or later when we finally got released to to go an get our food. You should have a hostess for seating people and another hostess or waiter/waitress to pay attention to the buffet table and advising people to go ahead and get their dinner. No candle on our table and waitress forgot my coke I ordered. Also, would suggest nice dinner music during dinner and before dancing. I noticed a waiter and waitress dancing with themselves in the third floor bar area. They are there to work not to dance. Finally, soda and ice tea should come with the dinner.

The cruise would have been wonderful had it not been for the weather. We sailed in a Thunderstorm and could not use the outside decks. Everything else was good, but for the money, it would be nicej to have good weather!

getting confirmation certificate a little confusing. Cruise on the lake wonderful. Food average. Not worth the price.

Question: Is there any parking nearby?

Answer: There is paid parking at the Navy Pier Garages. The cruise recommends you arrive early if driving as the garage does tend to fill up, especially on the weekends. If the lot is full there is another paid parking lot down the street. Parking in Chicago can be expensive so you may want to make other transportation arrangements if possible.

Question: Is the ship wheelchair accessible?

Answer: Yes, the first deck is ADA compliant and the restrooms can handle most standard sized wheelchairs. Some of the upper decks may not be accessible. Please let us know when requesting your reservation if someone in your party requires assistance so they can be sure to seat them on the main deck.

Question: What is the boarding procedures like?

Answer: You will be subject to a search. In order to expedite the boarding process they ask that you do not bring any unnecessary bags on board and please make sure that all gifts are in gift bags or unwrapped for easy screening.

Question: My partner is gluten-free. Will they be able to accommodate him?

Answer: While gluten and allergy free products are offered, and gluten sensitive items are on the menu, they openly handle several allergens throughout their galleys. And while they take precautions to keep ingredients separate, they cannot guarantee a gluten free environment. They do not have separate prep surfaces, cook tops or equipment.

Question: What happens if it rains?

Answer: The cabins are fully enclosed and climate controlled so the cruise will run rain or shine. In rare cases of extreme weather that the Coast Guard will not allow the ship to sail in the Harbor, dinner will be held dockside.
