Your Instructor, a third generation Chocolatier, will teach you and your guest everything you need to know about buying, tasting, tempering, coating and decorating with chocolate at Brooklyn’s renowned JoMartChocolate Shop. Following demonstration, you will learn how to make your own chocolate truffles or even build your own chocolate bar.

Whether you prefer dark, milk or white chocolate treats, this private culinary class is perfect for every chocolate lover and is a sweet gift for any occasion.

Who
The Chocolate Making Class in New York Xperience Certificate� is for one participant. This is a private class for you and your guest.

Guests
You may invite one guest to join you for the chocolate class. If you wish to add more than one guest, the price per additional participant is $125. (Private classes are available for a maximum of 8 total participants.)

When
The Chocolate Making Class in New York Experience is offered Tuesday thru Thursday May thru September and Monday thru Sunday October thru April, subject to availability. Classes may be scheduled at 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM.

NY Chocolate Making Class

We had a great time. Michael and Rose spent a lot of time with us and we learned a lot. Oh, we ate a lot of chocolate too!! The mixture of different tastes was marvelous. Michael is a walking encyclopedia on chocolate and was very generous with his time. They made us feel at home and we highly recommend this class.

Had a Great Experience

Michael and his staff were wonderful. Learned the history of chocolae including a taste test of different chocolate from different regions. We then learned how to temper chocolate and used it to dip fruit and prezzles. From there we made a variety of different filled chocolates as well as truffles. It was a lot of fun!
