This 'informal' 'tasting' tour was a pleasure with the added insight on some history of Hoboken. It made us look back at old classics like On The Waterfront, Sinatra and even TV Carlos Bakery scenes. It took from B&W days to the 'colorized' present days. But some food experiences were still frozen in that good old fashion simple Hoboken cuisine, which was great to TASTE! It is nice to fall back on simple life pleasures.

We both enjoyed the tour very much. I had never been to Hoboken and was very impressed. The tour guide was very pleasant & gave us a lot of information regarding the town. We enjoyed the stops along the way and the food was excellent. We would definitely recommend it.

My mother in law did the Hoboken Food Tour this past Saturday 10/20 and had a great time. We were surprised by the amount of food we were actually able to eat! It was fun walking around Hoboken and learning lots of little pieces of information about the history of the city. Our only complaint which can be a deal breaker for some people was that our guide (Avi) wasn't terribly friendly or personable. My mother in law tried chatting with him a few times and he just seemed disinterested. Other than that, we had a great time and would recommend this tour.

It was more of a historic tour of hoboken and not so much a culinary tour. We actually ate at 2 places. Lisa's was a great deli and the owner was super sweet and friendly. Our tour guide was good and tried hard but he lacked spunk and personality which is needed in a tour guide to make it interesting.
