Monday evening tours offer swing dancing to a twelve-piece band while Thursday evening tours offer the sounds of jazz or rhythm & blues.

A Soul Food dinner as well as two cocktails per person at the musical venue are included. Soul Food is the traditional African American cuisine which originated in the South. It traditionally consists of spicy ribs, collard greens, freshly cooked corn bread, black eye peas, and crispy fried chicken!

All tours are led by tour guides and take place on luxury coach buses. Most buses are equipped with on-board restrooms. Buses are not equipped with lap or shoulder belts or harnesses. The use or consumption of alcohol products is strictly prohibited on the bus. Federal and State law prohibit smoking on the bus. Video and audio recording on the bus are strictly prohibited.

Tour includes multiple stops for photo opportunities, walking and exploring each neighborhood.

This tour does not include additional beverages during dinner. Participants should bring spending money as they will have the opportunity to purchase additional food, beverages, gifts and souvenirs on the tour.

Gratuities for your tour guide are not included but are greatly appreciated and may be offered at the end of the event.

Question: Do we have to order ahead of time for Silvia's or do we just order off of the menu when we get there?

Answer: Dinner at Silvia's is served family style, 6 to a table.

Question: Are the Harlem tours only offered in English?

Answer: The tours of Harlem are offered in both English and French. If you or your guest only speaks French be sure to put the comments in the notes when redeeming your certificate for a reservation.

Question: Are there any vegetarian options available at Sylvia's?

Answer: This tour is not recommended for vegetarians. There are vegetables on the menu but they are often flavored with meat.

Question: Is the Harlem Soul Food Jazz Tour wheelchair accessible?

Answer: Yes. The company that offers the tour needs to know ahead of time to make the necessary arrangements so be sure to include the notes when you are booking your reservation.
