The Cruises in Norfolk are offered on afternoons year-round, subject to availability. Lunch cruises typically board at 11:30 AM, depart at 12:00 PM and dock at 2:00 PM. Brunch Cruises are held on Sundays and typically board at 12:30, depart at 1:00 PM and dock at 3:00 PM.

Lunch Cruise

The cruise was everything we expected. It was an enjoyable day, our 61st anniversary. Our only regret was that we couldn't dance to the entertaining music. I had fallen that morning on my driveway and was hurting. It was still a good day.

The experience was really nice. Only drawback was that we were seated right by the DJ,so we could not talk to each other. We missed the entertainment because we had to go to the deck,to get away from the noise level. Will not stop us from doing it again. We enjoyed the food, service was great and the cruise was lovely.

Question: I purchased this gift to give to my parents for Christmas. How should I tell them to dress for the Norfolk Lunch Cruise?

Answer: The lunch cruise offered a more relaxed atmosphere. Stylish casual attire is acceptable.
Question: Is there any parking near the docks?

Answer: There is convenient parking in the Waterside Garage, located one block from the ship, and also at the Town Point Garage, located at the intersection of Waterside Drive and Main Street. Both of these lots are paid parking lots.
Question: What are the boarding procedures like?

Answer: You will be subject to a search. In order to expedite the boarding process they ask that you do not bring any unnecessary bags on board and please make sure that all gifts are in gift bags or unwrapped for easy screening.
Question: Does the ship have wheelchair access?

Answer: Yes. Spirit has a deck and restrooms that can accommodate most standard-sized wheelchairs. Be sure to let us know if you have a person in your party that uses a wheelchair so they can be seated on the main deck. You can make notes in the comments field under your date selection.
Question: I would like to surprise my wife with this gift for our anniversary. What is the seating like?

Answer: The Norfolk Harbor Dinner has cruise style seating. They will do their best to seat the table according to party size, but on busy days you may have to share a table.
Question: My wife and I have a reservation for this weekend, but there is rain in the forecast. What will happen if the weather is poor on the day of our Cruise?

Answer: The Cruise will sail rain or shine. The ship has two climate-controlled indoor decks to shield you from outdoor conditions. However, the Ticket Booth and Boarding areas are not sheltered, so please dress appropriately. In extreme weather conditions the Ship will be held dockside for dinner.
