Ride in a Balloon Over Beautiful Southern Washington During a Private One Hour Balloon Flight For Two

This romantic Private Hot Air Balloon Ride for Two near Portland, Oregon begins at sunrise, as you and your special guest meet with your Pilot just 30 minutes north of the City in Battle Ground, WA. After meeting with your pilot in town, you will head to the perfect launch location for the day and assist with flight preparation the inflation of the balloon. Once inflated, you will climb into the basket while your pilot continues to heat the air inside of the balloon.

Soon the balloon will gradually ascend above the tree tops and several thousand feet into the sky. As you float in the balloon over beautiful southern Washington on this romantic flight, you will travel at wind speed for approximately one hour. Along the way, you will enjoy views of Mt. Adams, Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Rainier, Mt. Hood, Mt. Jefferson and when able to climb to 5,000 feet the Three Sisters. The most exciting part of this hot air ballooning experience is sharing this romantic flight together!

Towards the end of your journey, the balloon will begin to descend back down to earth where your ride concludes with a wonderful sparkling cider ceremony. From Seattle to Portland and everywhere in between, this Romantic Balloon Ride is an amazing airborne adventure, the perfect gift for any occasion.

This experience is not suitable for guests.

When
The Portland Hot Air Ballooning Experience is offered May thru October, subject to availability. Flights take place at Sunrise. Sunrise times will vary upon the time of year the flight is scheduled.

Duration
The Portland Hot Air Ballooning Experience has a flight time of approximately 1 hour and a total duration of 3 hours.

Weather
The Portland Hot Air Ballooning Experience may be cancelled by the Pilot due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather.

What to wear
Dress comfortably, flat rubber-soled enclosed shoes and layers are recommended for this open air adventure. Please do not wear nylon jackets or pants.

Additional Information
Participation in the Hot Air Balloon Experience is limited to individuals weighing less than 220lbs and less than 6’5” tall. Participants must be able to stand for a minimum of 90 minutes, should be at least 8 years of age and also a minimum of 4’ tall. Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe conditions are not eligible to participate.

Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form prior to flight.
