Discover what rock climbing is all about during this private, 4-hour climbing clinic in Joshua Tree National Park. Your expert climbing instructor will teach you everything there is to know about basic rock climbing safety, climbing knots, climbing commands, basic top roping techniques, rope management, and an overview of the climbing rating system. After your instruction, it's finally time to climb! You and your instructor will get to enjoy several climbs together up the beautiful mountains of Joshua Tree Park during this exciting experience.

This is a great opportunity to get exposure to outdoor climbing in a safe, supportive, fun and nurturing environment; and to enjoy the beauty of Joshua Tree National Park!

Who
The Private Rock Climbing In Palm Springs Xperience Certificate® is for one participant. This is a private experience.

Guests
You may invite guests to watch the clinic at the park.

When
The Private Rock Climbing In Palm Springs Experience is offered seven days a week, year-round, subject to availability. Clinics are typically offered from 9:30 AM until 1:30 PM.

Duration
The Private Rock Climbing In Palm Springs Experience has a clinic time of 4 hours and a total duration of approximately 4½ hours.

Weather
The Private Rock Climbing In Palm Springs Experience may be cancelled by the Instructor due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather.

What to wear
Please wear flexible and comfortable clothing appropriate for the outdoors.

Additional Information
No climbing experience is necessary. All gear: climbing harness, climbing shoes, carabiners, ropes, webbing, cord, belay devices, etc is provided for the lesson.

All Instructors are experienced climbers. Instructors are with the students at all times.

Gratuities for guides customarily range from 10-20% of the trip cost and are not included in any of our prices. Transportation, food and beverage, park entrance fees and lodging are not included or provided.

Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form. If the participant is under the age of 18 a parent or guardian will need to sign the form prior to participation.

Cancellation Policy
All changes to reservations for the Private Rock Climbing In Palm Springs Experience require seven (7) days advance notice.
