Tennessee's Ocoee River with its large, close rapids make it one of the most popular white water rivers in the Nation. No other river in the East offers the degree of challenge, safety and consistent water flow that is found on the Ocee. The Ocoee River has been chosen as the site of National Whitewater Championships on several occasions as well as home of the 1996 Olympic Whitewater Competition. You may choose to enjoy exhilarating Class III – IV Rafting on the Upper or Middle Ocoee River. You and a guest will team up with an experienced rafting guide to learn proper techniques and safety skills. You will then be chauffeured to the rafting launch site.

The Ocoee Middle quickly became one of the most popular five mile stretches of whitewater in the Country. With exciting rapids like "Vegematic", "Double Trouble", and "Table Saw" just 20 feet from the put-in and continuous waves and action, your trip and any trepidation pass before you know it!

The Upper Ocoee is a perfect half-day rafting trip for experts, novices, family groups, and recreation clubs. Dry prior to the Olympics, the Upper Ocoee has once again come alive. This section features the Olympic Whitewater course plus five miles of exciting whitewater. Professionally-trained guides will navigate you through class III and IV rapids such as "Humongous," "Let's Make a Deal," and "Slam Dunk."

As a dam controlled River, water levels on the Upper and Middle Ocoee remain high all summer! So, no matter which trip you choose, it is sure to be a white water adventure!

Who
The Rafting On The Ocoee River For Two Xperience Certificate® is for two participants. There will be up to a total of six participants in each raft.

Guests
This experience is not suitable for non-paying guests.

When
The Whitewater Rafting Ocoee River Experience is offered on Saturdays and Sundays March thru October as well as select weekdays June thru August, subject to availability.

Duration
The Whitewater Rafting Ocoee River Experience is approximately 3 to 3½ hours in duration, unless an Extended Trip is selected. Upper Ocoee River Trips included 1½ hours on the river and Middle Ocoee River Tirps include 2 hours on the river.

Weather
The Whitewater Rafting Ocoee River Experience may be cancelled by the Guide due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather.

What to wear
Dress comfortably and bring a change of clothing. Recommended items include a swimsuit, shorts, t-shirt, sunglasses or hat and sunscreen.

Additional Information
Your rafting experience will take place with a Professional Guide and includes all rafting gear and life jackets.

No previous whitewater experience required.

Upper Ocoee River
Minimum Age: 12 years
Intensity Level: Exciting, but not strenuous.

Middle Ocoee River
Minimum Age: 12 years
Intensity Level: Exciting, but not strenuous.

Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered by the Guide to be unsafe conditions are not eligible to participate.

Equipment Furnished on all trips includes Raft, paddle, PFD, helmet and paddling jacket if needed. Facilities available include changing rooms and showers, deck restaurant, store and picnic area.

Guide Gratuities are not included and can be extended following your rafting adventure. Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form.

Cancellation Policy
All changes to reservations for the Rafting On The Ocoee River For Two Experience require ten (10) days advance notice.

Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.
