Price for 2 participants
Thieves, murderers and scoundrels are loose on the train and they need your help catching them!
Launched in July 2005, the Sacramento RiverTrain is one of the nation’s newest dinner trains. Trips aboard the train feature food and entertainment while you roll through the countryside. While the RiverTrain is new, the equipment and railroad have a long history. The Train operates on the 16-mile “Woodland Branch” between Woodland and West Sacramento, CA. The Woodland Branch was constructed in 1911 by the Northern Electric Co. as the Sacramento and Woodland Railroad to link the fertile farmlands of Yolo County with the developing city of Sacramento. At its peak, the Woodland Branch offered eight roundtrip passenger trains daily from Woodland to Sacramento. Gratuity is not included and can be extended to your server onboard.

My fiancee and I received the trip for a gift from his son and family. What an enjoyable evening! The food was great, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the show was hilarious. It was great to interact with the players. I would definitely do it again and would send someone this as a gift also.

My wife gave this to me for Valentines Day, and we went on a weekend off in March. The crew were very attentive, the performance was cute and the food was excellent. It was on a warm day and it was a nice evening out. I would recommend it to anybody looking for something different to do for a few hours without traveling far.

The view was not what I had expected. I had expected a better view. The Mystery play was terrible. I had expected a cloak and dagger type and got tongue in cheek. Now the food was wonderful I enjoy the meal very very much.

We went for my wifes 50th birthday as a surprise for her. The 'show' was slow and cheezy with the 4 'actors' and the food was mediocre at best. The slow train ride, a lot of the cheap wine and our guests made it atleast enjoyable.

My daughter & family from Tucson, AZ gave my husband & I the trip for Christmas. It was delightful! The dinner was great, the actors were very professional & humerous, & the staff was very attentive. The whole evening was fun & we enjoyed every minute of it. Every year my daughter books something through Xperience Days that is close to us & something we have never done before. All have been great & this year was no exception. I would highly recommend this trip to tourists & locals alike!

My son, daughter-in-law and I surprised my daughter for her birthday with the Mystery Dinner Train out of Woodland, CA. We all had a great time, the food was very good, the crew friendly and helpful, and the performance was a lot of laughs. We would recommend the experience.
