You’ll be picked up from your hotel between 9.15 and 9.45am by your professional tour guide and your itinerary will vary, depending on what’s going on in the city that day. The bucket-list biggies like the Golden Gate Bridge and Twin Peaks are always on the menu, and you’ll usually hit up the most famous neighbourhoods from North Beach and Pacific Heights to Castro, the Embarcadero and home of the peace movement, Haight-Ashbury, but you’ll also get off the beaten track to the kind of secret spots that the bigger tours don’t take you to.
