Relive the glory days of aviation and fly a 1940s North American T-6 Texan! The North American T-6 trainer was used as the advanced fighter trainer for WWII aviators. Known as the "Pilot Maker”, it was one of the most important aircraft designs of the Second World War, training pilots to not only how to fly like an Ace but become an Ace!

Prior to take off for your hands-on Warbird Flight, your instructor pilot will go over all of the basics of the controls as well as safety information for this vintage plane. No prior experience is necessary to enjoy this once in a lifetime experience. You will be flying from the front cockpit and at the controls while your experienced instructor is in the back cockpit talking you through all the maneuvers.

This is the perfect gift for first time flyers, nostalgia buffs, thrill seekers, modelers and licensed pilots. This Hands-On Warbird Flight is an experience that will not soon be forgotten!

What an adventure!

5 stars

My team bought me a 15 minute flight for Christmas. I was excited to go as I saw the pictures on line. Then, my wife added 15 minutes of aerobatics. Wow! Dennis took me up and gave me detailed history about the plane and the experience. We flew all the way to Bok Tower with my taking the controls for a few minutes. Then, Dennis did some spectacular but very controlled maneuvers. Very exciting. Nothing like being above it all and seeing the world differently! I am huge fan of Dennis and Warbirds. Hope you enjoy your flight as much as I did.

Great Flight - Thanks John

This was the best present I could have received for my 50th Birthday!! I still cant stop talking about it and showing the pictures from the flight. It was a 30 minute flight. Once in the air, I was given control of the plane almost the entire time ... having to give it back to John so he could demonstrate the maneuver prior to me controlling it. John kept the conversation fun and interesting during the flight. I cant wait to fly again. A suggestion ... eat a light breakfast. The rolls and loops will test your stomach

Awesome Experience

5 stars

This is the most thrilling thing I ever did. Allready some time ago but if you have the oppertunity to do this do the one hour flight you won't be dissapointed. The pilot explains everything clearly and that makes it more exciting. Do it but do not eat or drink before the flight and that will prevent a cleaning session cause it is the ultimate thrill

Orlando Warbird Flight

Great experience - would highly recommend it! The staff was friendly, professional, and didn't waste any time getting us queued up. I added the additional flight time with aerobatics and it was awesome!! Just the right amount of time in the air and the maneuvers made it even more unforgettable! Thanks for a great ride!!

Question: If I purchase the Warbird Flight in Orlando for my brother's birthday, will he actually be able fly the plane?

Answer: Absolutely. The plane has dual controls and was designed as a trainer for WW2 pilots. Once he takes off your brother can be at the controls until it's time to land if he likes.

Question: Can I ask the pilot to perform some aerobatics on the 15 minute basic flight?

Answer: Aerobatics are not offered on the 15 minute flight. You must choose the Aerobatic 30 minute Warbird flight option if you'd like to perform stunts.

Question: If I choose the Aerobatic option, can I actually perform some of the maneuvers?

Answer: Yes! If you feel comfortable you're pilot/instructor will guide you through the maneuvers.

Question: I'd like to purchase the Warbird flight for a friend but I'm not sure how much he weighs. How strict are they about the 250lb weight limit?

Answer: The weight limit is set by the FAA based on the aircraft for safety reasons and they are very serious about safety. Even a couple of pounds over and your friend will be turned away. If it is questionable they will be weighed at the airport.

Question: What happens if there is bad weather on the date I'm scheduled? Can I get a refund?

Answer: The flight is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged once a reservation has been made. If the pilot decides the weather is not suitable to fly you will be rescheduled directly by the flight school.

Question: I'm scheduled for the Warbird flight in Orlando and would like to bring my family along. I was thinking they could visit the museum while I'm on my flight. Do they need tickets?

Answer: Yes, they may purchase tickets at the museum when they arrive. The price varies but is under $20 per person. They offer adult and children's rates and even offer a military discount.
