Enjoy the thrill of a tandem flight in a hang glider over the beautiful Hudson Valley. This is a "hands-on" chance to pilot the wing and see what the fun is all about. Your hang gliding flight in New York will depart from Randall Airport where you will be towed to 2,500 feet above ground and set free to soar with a 'USPHA' rated tandem instructor at your side. You will learn basic flight controls, right of way rules, soaring techniques, and the landing approach into the airport. This is an amazing airborne adventure.
Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form. Parental consent is required for participants less than 18 years of age.

Hang Glide Greatness
This adventure was delayed from its original booking because of weather. The company made sure that the rebooking and the day of the trip itself was handled in the best way, with professionalism, interest and humor. I would tell anyone to definitely take advantage of this truly beautiful experience. And, if you're into a little more excitement, then let the pilot take you for some dips and bankings (I did without hesitation, and it was fantastic). Thank you for one of my best adventures ever.

Hangliding over the Hudson
The experience was very exciting and definitely worthwhile. However, the safety precautions were never explained before hand, making me very ill at ease throughout the entire experience. Additionally, the dvd's we paid for were poorly made. One in fact does not even show a video, but instead has 4 random snapshots, while my boyfriends dvd ends and cuts off before landing. I tried contacting the venue in regards to this situation, but so far no one has picked up the phone. I will continue to contact them. The people working there were all very friendly and enthusiastic about hang gliding. They even helped us with driving directions, because we had gotten quite lost on the way over. Overall, it was a good experience. I just wish I had a dvd that worked to show my friends and family.

Hang Gliding over the Hudson
The experience was thrilling, however, the run was shorter than what was expected due to wind condition. Paid the full amount of money for a full run and didn't receive that, this was a bit disappointing.

Answer: The Hang Gliding Over Hudson Valley Experience is offered on Saturdays and Sundays April thru October, subject to availability. Flights can be scheduled from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
