After a thrilling vertical take-off, approach Emerald Bay and witness the vivid emerald green waters that give the bay its name. The bay is surrounded by thick forests and rocky cliffs, and from above you can see the intricate pattern of inlets and coves that make it such a popular destination for boaters and kayakers. As you circle the bay, your pilot points out the various landmarks and points of interest, such as the historic Vikingsholm mansion, perched on the edge of the bay and surrounded by gardens and terraces. Up to two guests may join on the flight for a total of three passengers. The maximum weight limit for all passengers is 500lbs.

The Helicopter Tours over Lake Tahoe are offered up to seven days a week throughout the year, subject to availability. Tours are typically offered at twenty minute intervals between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

How Long Is It

The Emerald Bay Helicopter Flights have a length of ten minutes and a total duration of approximately one hour.

Weather

The Helicopter Tour may be rescheduled by the pilot due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather.

Guests are advised to dress comfortably and bring a camera.

The maximum weight per person must not exceed 250lbs, the total maximum weight combined is 500lb. Government issued Photo ID is required for all passengers.
