Go behind the scenes and visit the real blues lounges that made this musical genre famous - away from the beaten-path tourist hangouts. Your Guide, a Chi-Town native and Blues expert will escort you to three hidden gems on the South and West-Side of the City. You will enjoy three sets of live blues, and learn about Chicago's significance in blues music history as you enjoy the music. From Lee's Unleaded Blues to the Checkerboard Lounge, Nick's Beer Garden or the Keynote, you will discover the rhythm of Chicago! Whether you are looking for things to do in Chicago, a night out on the town or a unique gift, this Chicago Blues Tour is the perfect note!
Transportation throughout the tour is provided. Tours begin Downtown on West Illinois Street and end on the same block at Grand & State Streets. Pick up at Downtown hotels or other Downtown locations by pre-arrangement is available. Venues and locations visited on the tour vary. Gratuities for your tour guide are not included but are greatly appreciated and may be offered at the end of the event. You will have the opportunity to purchase additional food and beverages during the experience, therefore participants are urged to bring additional spending money.
