Explore the beautiful sea cliffs and La Jolla Ecological Reserve filled with marine life. On a Two Hour Kayak Tour, you and your guest will paddle to Sunny Jim's cave, Arch Cave, Clams' Cave and other sea caves for an amazing close-up of this sandstone formation along the shores.

Kayak San Diego in the calm cold ocean waters protected by the crescent shape of La Jolla Cove. Please dress accordingly for the colder waters in order to catch glimpses of harbor seals, sea lions and orange garibaldi swimming nearby the cove. Then, kayak to the amazing kelp forest and Ecological Reserve. Paddle through this underwater kelp forest, home to an array of marine life, including seals, sea lions and the occasional dolphins.

With all kayak equipment provided and no previous experience necessary, this fun kayak tour of La Jolla is perfect for two!

The La Jolla Sea Caves Kayak Tour For Two Xperience Certificate� is for two participants. There will be additional participants on tour.

This experience is not suitable for non-paying guests.

When
The La Jolla Kayak Tour for Two is is offered up to seven days a week year-round, subject to availability. Tours depart at 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM.

*Due to restrictions placed by the City of San Diego, reservations are currently unavailable on weekends from June until the beginning of September.

Duration
The Sea Caves Kayak Tour has a paddle time of approximately 2 hours and a total experience time of approximately 2� hours.

Weather
The Sea Caves Kayak Tour of La Jolla may be cancelled by the Guide due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather.

What to wear
Dress comfortably in a bathing suit or light, quick-drying clothing, sandals and a baseball hat. The Ocean Waters are colder, so please feel free to bring a wet suit or jacket. Please also bring an extra towel with a change of clothes.

Additional Information
La Jolla Sea Caves Kayak Tour For Two takes place in a tandem Kayak built for two participants.

San Diego Kayak tours are designed to accommodate beginners as well as experienced kayakers. There is no minimum age requirement on the day tours, individuals must be 6 years of age or older to participate in the Sunset tour. Individuals under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Appropriate PFDs are available for all age levels. All equipment is included and instruction is provided.

Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form.

Cancellation Policy
All changes to reservations for the La Jolla Sea Caves Kayak Tour Experience require seven (7) days advance notice.

Xperience Certificates� cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.

Sea Caves La Jolla Tour

A fun experience with good information provided by our guide. I was hoping to see more of the caves (we only entered ONE cave for less than two minutes that was a little disappointing). I understand the surf/tide/weather is a factor but it was still a bit disappointing to only see one cave. But the area was beautiful and the kayaks were easy to use.

La Jollay Sea Caves Kayak Tour

This was a great first time kayaking experience. We ended up having the best day of the summer for it - per our guide. It can be pretty windy, which might be a challenge for new kayakers, but was really calm on our day - could see about 20 ft down in the water. Saw leopard sharks, and these cool 'giant goldfish', cormorants, brown pelicans and sea lions. Our guide was very entertaining. The only challenge was finding the store - there are many Kayak tour places and this one is not called 'La Jolla Sea Caves'. Luckily we had the address and found it by that.

Almost Perfect
