Your journey will takes place on the Amethyst, a lively sailor which has won trophies in the Wooden Hull Yacht Clubs' Sailing Regattas. Amethyst is a traditional wooden sailing yacht, 46ft overall, and ketch rigged. She has a beautiful clipper bow and bowsprit, with teak decks running aft. Built in 1969 to the specific designs of the famous naval architect William Garden, she is a stout and safe vessel; USCG equipped and designed to handle the rigors of ocean sailing.
While on board this beautiful 46’ Wooden Sailing Yacht, feel the wind in your hair and breathe in the fresh sea air, sunbathe and relax in the California sun, and explore the local waters and wildlife, including whales, dolphins, seals, and sea lions, in style aboard a truly beautiful boat. The Marina Del Rey Sailing Charter Experience has a sail time of approximately 2 hours and a total experience time of approximately 2˝ hours, unless an Extended Sail Option is selected. |

GUESTS
You may invite up to 4 additional guests to join you on the sail for a total of 6 passengers, unless the Dinner Sail Option is selected. |

WEATHER
The Marina Del Rey Sailing Charter Experience may be cancelled by the Captain due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather. |

WHAT TO WEAR
Dress comfortably, flat, non-marking rubber-soled shoes and layers are recommended for this sailing adventure. |

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Sails take place on a 46' Wooden Sailing Yacht. The "Amethyst" is skippered by a USCG-licensed captain and crew. Participation in the Marina Del Rey Sailing Charter Experience is limited to individuals 3 years of age or older. If the Dinner Sail Option is selected, you may select two Appetizers, Main Dishes and Desserts from the menu to enjoy on the sail.While motion sickness is possible, it is unlikely and can be reduced by avoiding heavy meal(s) prior to the scheduled sail. All passengers must sign a Liability Release Form. |

CANCELLATION POLICY
All changes to reservations for the Marina Del Rey Sailing Charter Experience require seven (7) days advance notice.
Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made. |
