My husband and I received this tour as a Christmas gift and we couldn't have asked for a better gift. We had a great time sampling some of the beers brewed in San Diego. We would recommend to a friend. Thank you for an enjoyable experience.

The weekday tour went to Stone, Ballast Point, and San Diego Brew Co. \At first I thought it was a little weak that they chose to go to Stone (because everyone's already been there) but upon reflection, it was clearly the best beer of the three breweries, so it only makes sense to go there. Go where the good beer's at. There was a very informative and interesting tour of the brew process at Ballast Point, which I thoroughly enjoyed. None of the breweries were crowded on a Friday and I felt we spent the perfect amount of time at each place. The tour could be improved by skipping San Diego Brewing Co. (going to a non-restaurant microbrewery instead), but overall it was a great experience and definitely worth the money.

Jon McDermott was an excellent host for this tour. The tour could have been enhanced by having lunch earlier in the day. Logistically, he setup the schedule to avoid freeway traffic, but it would have been better to end at Stone Brewery because that was the best location. We started with the best and usually you try to end with the best. Maybe that could not have been avoided, but the lunch should have been earlier in the day. By the time we got to the 3rd brewery our primary focus was eating and not tasting the beer. But the host was great and we were comfortable in the van. Thanks!
