This was such a fantastic thing to do. It was gifted to me so I knew morning about it. But the crew was so friendly and answers any questions about the area or history, they served 3-4 rounds of drinks per person, and the views of course were beautiful. Highly recommend for people who just want a night out doing something different in Manhattan, or if relatives are visiting.

A very relaxing trip. The crew was very helpful!. Capt. Kat did a great job sailing to Lady Liberty and back. Bring a nice camera to take photos of the NY skyline! Thanks, recommend highly!

The cruise was sensational. The weather was perfect enough wind to actually sail. The crew was very friendly and accommodating. The captain and two crew members made the cruise fun filled. They told stories handed out drinks and blankets when they were needed. They also helped us get some very memorable pictures. We will recommend it to others.

It looked like it was going to be a great cruise. The crew were nice and attentive. No problems at all. Then the sky opened up. Not a lot of places to hide in the middle of the harbor, but the crew passed out rainponchos and the captain tried to take the boat wherever the rain wasn't. That worked pretty well. All and all, if the weather was nicer this would have been a great cruise. I would definitely do it again!!!

We had a very pleasant sail on the river and good weather. We felt the boat was crowded, but the crew was very nice.

It was without a doubt one of the most fun and romantic things I've ever done. The crew was incredibly friendly and attentive, the views were spectacular, and the other members on the schooner were friendly. I thought that many people on the boat would make things cramped and awkward, but it was quite the opposite. At moments, it felt like my boyfriend and I were just completely alone out at sea. I would definitely reccomend this trip!

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful experience on the Sunset Schooner trip. We even received a special treat when we checked in...we were bumped up to a bigger boat due to the number of people who signed up. All we had to do is wait an extra ten minutes...well duh! Who wouldn't? We were scheduled to board the Adirondack which is a beautiful 80 foot Schooner and instead we rode on the America 2.0 which is an even more beautiful 105 foot Schooner! The ride was a little bumpy at first and to be honest I expected that. However it quickly calmed down and we were off taking a wonderful sail around the New York Harbor. The view of the city was gorgeous from the water and we even got an up close view of Lady Liberty! The captain and his crew were 100% polite and professional and made the trip extremely enjoyable! My wife was so excited at the start of the trip that she ended up being the loudest one on boat! The captain loved this so much he made sure that she was served a drink very quickly! The only thing that would have made this trip better was if the weather was 10 degrees warmer and we had clearer skies! I highly recommend taking this Schooner trip and I am anxious to get out there and do it again soon!

The boat was beautful and the weather was perfect. Our captain was very pleasant and the crew was very accomodating with beverages. My party of four enjoyed it very much.

Definately was perfect weather for a ride up the Hudson. Lady Liberty was in all her glory. Crew was awesome...offering to teach some nautical knots to my 2 young boys. Would have liked it to last a bit longer. Description on X-days web site said we'd go under the Brooklyn bridge, too, but that didn't happen...maybe timing?? Oh well.

The staff was lovely....attentive, pleasant, knowledgeable. The trip itself was lovely. Our only 'complaint' as it were is that it was not so comfortable to perch for two hours. Perhaps some cushions? Otherwise, really wonderful.

We just returned from a beautiful day on the water. The captain and crew were pitch perfect, customer service was exceptional and the day on the water was enjoyable! Our children, under the age of 10, both raved and asked 'can we go again?' We all felt the same. I highly recommend this experience.

My sail experiance was a birthday gift I received in the winter. It was worth waiting for. It was the best day and the best sail. I would definitely recommend the outing for family fun.

After finding the boat (a little difficult because their was no obvious signage on the dock), I had a fantastic sail. Great skipper and crew, lots of opportunity for 'hands on' participation.
- Ami Nahshon - Manhattan, NY, Wednesday, July 30, 2008
We thought the sailing was going to be more engaging. There were far too many people in the boat. On the positive side, the views were nice and we had a pleasant time.
