Spend the morning reeling em' in on a privately owned 60 acre lake in Clermont, Florida during this four-hour Bass Fishing Trip. This action-packed Florida Fishing Trip is guided by a knowledgeable and experienced Fisherman who will show you and your guest the ropes and lead you to optimum spots on the water where the catchin’s best.

Available year-round, this Lake Fishing trip provides you and your guest with all the tools you need to land a Trophy Bass, Croppy, Snook or Bowfin. When you reel in the big one, your Guide will be there to help you capture the moment with the digital onboard camera before you have to release your catch back into the wild. Since this adventure takes place on one of the best stocked private lakes in all of Florida, the rod bending excitement can continue for hours!

So, whether this is your first time using a rod n' reel or you're a seasoned angler, this Bass Fishin’ Trip is sure to be packed with fun and makes the perfect experience gift for anyone who loves to spend time on the water!

The Florida Bass Fishing Experience is offered seven days a week year-round, subject to availability. Trips typically begin at 7:00 AM.

The Bass Fishing Trips may be rescheduled by the Guide due to inclement weather.

What To Wear

Dress comfortably for this fishing trip in clothing you don't mind getting dirty or wet. Additional suggestions include waterproof sunblock, sunglasses with straps, a hat or visor, quick-drying longsleeve shirt and pants for sun protection, a wool or fleece, sweater or jacket in cooler months and a waterproof jacket or suit.

All fish caught must be placed back in the Lake and a Florida fishing license is not required. The Lake itself is 65 acres large and is nearly 40 feet deep in some parts. Guests must be able to board the fishing boat unaided.

Drinks including ice water and a selection of soft drinks are provided. Participants may also bring their own beverages and snacks onboard.

All equipment is provided including tournament equipped bass boats installed with top range electronics and late model rods and reels. Guests are welcome to use their own equipment.

Gratuity for your guide is not included and may be extended following the trip.

Participants must be at least 12 years of age. Price includes tax.

Question: I'm giving my grandson a certificate for the Clermont Bass Fishing Trip as a birthday gift. I want to make sure he doesn't have to pay for anything. Is he going to need a Florida fishing license?

Answer: No he won't. Because this experience takes place on a private lake, no fishing license is required. There is no public fishing on the lake.
Question: Can we keep any of the fish we catch or is it all catch and release?

Answer: There is a strict catch and release only policy. This insures the lake stays stocked with big fish for the next group,
Question: Do we fish with shiners?

Answer: No, while live bait is permitted, it's not used on the tours. If you have children that want to use live bait be sure to call ahead as they'll need to order it.
Question: I bought this trip to take my girlfriend on, who has never gone fishing. Can I bring my own road?

Answer: Absolutely! And if you're lucky rod and reel is not feeling lucky that day you can always switch over to the equipment provided by the guide.
Question: Does the fishing trip get cancelled often for rain?

Answer: Not often. This is 60 acre private lake in Central Florida without a lot of chop so it's rare that it would be cancelled for weather. If bad weather moves in you can be off the boat and on shore within 10 minutes from anywhere on the lake. If the trip is cancelled you will be rescheduled directly with the service provider and do not need to contact Experience Days.
