Unique Gifts in New York

Choosing a unique gift for the New Yorkers in your life is not the easiest prospect! In a state with such overwhelming choice of… well… everything, it can be difficult to find a really special New York gift that stands out from all the rest. We firmly believe that the gift of an experience is one of the greatest gifts you can give. You may be looking for that perfect Christmas present or an unforgettable birthday present in New York – why not give a unique gift that allows them to truly enjoy the big apple?

There are so many experience gift vouchers available not just in New York city, but throughout the state, that choosing the perfect gift for friends and family in New York could not be easier. Of course there are endless New York experiences available, from horse and carriage rides in Central Park to visiting the Empire State Building, however at Experience Days we offer New York experiences that for locals and tourists alike.

‘Off the beaten track’ New York tours are varied and really interesting, and often have a particular theme. A New York hip hop walking tour offers a totally unique perspective on the city, and you will learn some fascinating facts about the rise and rise of New York hip hop.

There is also a massive selection of gourmet gifts that will make foodies all over New York happy. The range of New York food tours is superb, and reflects the cultural diversity of the city wonderfully – from a special Chinatown food and culture tour to a cheese and wine tasting experience, through to a ‘Food Cart’ walking tour of downtown or midtown Manhattan! We offer a more sombre, but very special and informative Ground Zero museum workshop tour, which has become one of New York’s best tours, offering a sensitive and tasteful view of the incredible spirit shown in the days, weeks and months after 9/11.

One of our greatest New York experience gifts is the fascinating and fantastic Accomplice Show, an experience like no other where you are sent on a mission in New York City, helped along by mysterious clues. What is more, it’s produced by none other than Neil Patrick Harris – a sure stamp of approval!

Of course there are many experiences offered not just in Manhattan, but throughout New York state. Hot air balloon rides over the Hudson Valley, flying lessons and skydiving in upstate New York, food tours and white water rafting in Albany, a dinner cruise in Syracuse the list goes on, particularly if you are interested in a more outdoorsy experience. If you want a really great outdoors experience but don’t want to leave Manhattan, our Schooner sailing experience is a truly unforgettable experience. A New York sightseeing tour with a difference, our schooner sailing tour takes you from New York Harbor , past Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, under the Brooklyn Bridge, and back up the Hudson River. The Schooner sailing experience makes for a really special, romantic and memorable gift for native New Yorkers and tourists alike.

Choose to give the most unique gift you can give to the New Yorkers you love – an amazing New York experience and a lasting memory!

  • I have never done a food tour before, but my girlfriend has been on several. We were very lucky to have good weather and the guides were great. They were extremely knowledgable and were very involved in the Frederick community. The tour size was perfect (about 10) where we could move easily and chat with different people. We enjoyed the food selection, especially the wine and beer tastings! There was a good amount of walking on this trip, which is why the advice of comfortable shoes is a must. It was nice that the food / drink stops were evenly spaced around so you had time to digest before moving on to another stop. This was a wonderful experience, I definitely recommend it, and would love do go on another!

  • The boat tour was nice, but we could not hear what the tour guide was saying on the top level (outside) of the boat. We were forced to choose a better view outside and not be able to hear the interesting facts about the city, or to sit inside and hear he facts, but not be able to truly enjoy the view. That was frustrating. Otherwise, it was nice.
