Some people liken Maryland to an “America in Miniature”, due to its greatly varying topography. From low flat marshlands to imposing mountains in the west, undulating hills cloaked in forests of oak to the sandy dunes and stunning beaches on the eastern coastline, Maryland has it all. This superb range of landscape lends itself really well to a number of outdoor experiences, and that is absolutely evident when looking at our specially selected Maryland experience gifts.
Some of our most beautiful and memorable Maryland experience gifts are those that take place in water. We have an idyllic and romantic Chesapeake Bay sailing experience gift voucher, a kayaking experience on Piscataway Creek, or a dinner cruise or sailing charter right in Baltimore harbour.
We also offer a number of wonderful airborne Maryland experience gifts, including a helicopter scenic tour r a helicopter flying lesson over Baltimore, flight lessons in Annapolis, or a really special hot air balloon ride over the Delmarva region.
If your nearest and dearest prefer to keep their feet firmly on the ground, we have some land-based activities and experience gifts in Maryland that should make them very happy indeed! I have never done a food tour before, but my girlfriend has been on several. We were very lucky to have good weather and the guides were great. They were extremely knowledgable and were very involved in the Frederick community. The tour size was perfect (about 10) where we could move easily and chat with different people. We enjoyed the food selection, especially the wine and beer tastings! There was a good amount of walking on this trip, which is why the advice of comfortable shoes is a must. It was nice that the food / drink stops were evenly spaced around so you had time to digest before moving on to another stop. This was a wonderful experience, I definitely recommend it, and would love do go on another!Ben - Gaithersburg, MD
The boat tour was nice, but we could not hear what the tour guide was saying on the top level (outside) of the boat. We were forced to choose a better view outside and not be able to hear the interesting facts about the city, or to sit inside and hear he facts, but not be able to truly enjoy the view. That was frustrating. Otherwise, it was nice.Jennifer Ricketts - NYC
