Classes are taught by Diane Floyd is the Chef and Owner of Meal Makers, Inc.. Chef Floyd has over twenty years of professional cooking experience in restaurants, university dining services, hotels, and in catering industry.
The five healthy cooking techniques are Roasting, Steaming, Sauteing, Broiling/Grilling, and Stir-frying. During the lesson you will prepare five dishes that include a poultry entree, fish entree, sides and a dessert each using one of the healthy cooking techniques.
Each participant will need a chef knife and cutting board. The Chef Instructor will purchase and bring all the food ingredients for the class. You'll also receive recipes for the dishes being prepared.
The Chef will travel approximately 20 miles outside of Center City Philadelphia at no additional charge. Distances outside of that radius are subject to travel fees.
