Sharpen your knife skills with Chef Dorothy Tague as she shows you and the rest of the guests how to prepare ethnic eats. The hands-on cooking classes being with a discussion of the menu du’jour. Next, you will follow step by step instructions as you work together to create a two to three course a culinary masterpiece. From Chinese to Thai dishes, Moroccan Dinners to Dinner From Tuscany, there is a class to suit everyone’s taste buds! Once the food preparation is complete, you will sit down and enjoy the delicious dishes you have created together.

The Ethnic Foods Cooking Class in Pittsburgh Experience Gifts Certificate is valid for one participant, unless additional are added onto the certificate. There may be up to nineteen additional participants in the culinary class.

This experience is not suitable for non-paying guests or spectators.

The Pittsburgh Cooking Classes are offered on select dates year-round, subject to availability. Classes typically take place at 6:00 PM and at 2:00 PM on Sundays

How Long Is It hide

The Ethnic Culinary Classes have a class length of 3 hours and a total experience time of approximately 3¼ hours.

Weather hide

The Pittsburgh Cooking Classes may be rescheduled by the Instructor due to inclement weather or insufficient registration.

What To Wear hide

Dress comfortably, flat rubber-soled shoes are recommended for this culinary adventure. Please do not wear open-toed shoes or nylons.

Additional Information hide

Classes are held at Chop,WOK & Talk, the only Southeast Asian Cooking School in the Pittsburgh area.

Dietary restrictions and allergies can be accommodated with advanced notice. Vegetarians are welcome, however the majority of classes include cooking meat.

Young adults 13 and up can attend the class on their own at full price.
