Explore the History of the West End and the flavors of West Village on this four hour Guided Tour. Discover the JFK Experience on a Walking Tour and then head over to West Village for the West Village Restaurant Tour.

The Tour begins with a forty five minute excursion of the historical sites of the John F. Kennedy Assassination.  Your friendly and local Guide will escort you and the rest of the guests to sites like the Memorial Plaza, the grassy knoll and the sniper’s perch window.  Discover the beautiful architecture of the iconic structures in Dallas and listen to the stories and conspiracy theories behind the assassination. Enjoy a ten minute light rail train ride to the vibrant neighborhood of West Village where you will begin the Restaurant Hop Food tour. Where restaurants, shops and eateries line the streets, you will get an insider’s view into this trendy neighborhood. Stimulate your salivary glands with several sit-down tastings full of mouthwatering morsels as you learn about the history and heritage of Dallas.

The JFK Food Tours are typically offered 7 days a week, year-round, subject to availability. Tours typically begin at 9:30 AM.

The Historic JFK Culinary Tours have a tour length of 4 hours and a total duration of approximately 4¼ hours.

The Guided Tours of Dallas take place in all weather conditions.

What To Wear

Dress comfortably. Flat rubber-soled walking shoes are recommended for this culinary adventure.

Price includes all tastings and light rail fair. Tours include 1½ miles of leisurely walking. For most people, it is more than enough to fill them up for lunch.

Tours meet in Downtown and end in Uptown. Round trip fair for the light rail is included. Food tastings begin around 10:15 AM after the historic walk and light rail trip to West Village.

Participants may bring a bottle of water or non-alcoholic beverage on the tour. Participants are advised to bring additional spending money as they will have the opportunity to purchase additional food, beverages, gifts and souvenirs on the tour. Alcohol Pairings are available for purchase upon Checking in with the Tour Guide.

Children must be 12 years of age or older and accompanied by an adult at least 18 years of age or older at all times.

Gratuities for your tour guide are not included but are greatly appreciated and may be offered at the end of the event.
