Discover Florida’s natural beauty and unique ecosystem during a two-hour private Everglades Airboat Ride, only 40 minutes southwest of Miami. You and your guest will glide through a beautiful natural paradise of swamps, marshes and view incredible wildlife as you explore the habitat of the Florida Alligator on your airboat safari of the Everglades.

Your Airboat Captain will provide an interactive tour of the Everglades National Park Expansion Land from the moment you launch until the end of this remarkable Florida Airboat Tour. During this nine-mile safari you and your guest will venture through the River of Grass on an in-depth exploration of the man-made rivers that abound with wildlife. You will see alligators, birds and many other local flora and fauna.

The Captain will make sure you get the best photo opportunities of the breathtaking Florida outdoors and its amazing wildlife - in fact, it’s so beautiful you will feel like you are in a movie! Who Is Included hide

The Private Everglades Safari Airboat Tour Experience Gifts Certificate is valid for two participants, unless additional are added to the certificate. This is a private tour.

This experience is not suitable for non-paying guests. There is an additional fee for each guest added and up to 7 additional guests may be invited to join.

When It Is Offered hide

The Everglades Tours are offered seven days a week year-round, subject to availability. Tours are typically scheduled between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

How Long Is It hide

The Miami Airboat Tours have a tour length of 2 hours and a total duration of approximately 2½ hours.

Weather hide

The Airboat Safaris of the Everglades may be rescheduled by the Guide due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather.

What To Wear hide

Dress comfortably, flat, closed-toe shoes are recommended for this airboat adventure.

Additional Information hide

Tours take place in brand new top-of-the-line boats. Tours are guided by Captain Gary Matthews who holds his Captain's license from the United States Coast Guard. Captain Matthews is an avid outdoorsman and is knowledgeable in all aspects of life in the swamps and the great outdoors.

Children under the age of 6 will be provided a USCG PFD (Personal Floatation Device), which must be worn at all times, according to Florida law.

June thru September participants should bring:
Sun block that will not burn your eyes. A hat to wear when your airboat is not moving. Polarized sunglasses, so you can see the alligators and fish under the surface. Change of clothes, just in case you slip on a gator. Raincoat, if you want and / or a Wind breaker, if you tend to get chills – the air temperature drops 20 degrees when moving. Cameras!

The end of September thru the end of April participants should bring:
Warm Clothes. Sun block that does not burn your eyes. A hat to wear when your airboat is not moving. Polarized sunglasses, so you can see the alligators and fish under the surface. Change of clothes, just in case you slip on a gator. Cameras!

Gratuities are not included but are greatly appreciated and may be offered at the end of the event.

Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form.

All changes to reservations for the Everglades Airboat Tour Experience require seven (7) days advance notice.

Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.
