Travel back in time nearly over 200 million years ago when dinosaurs roamed the great planes of Colorado. Learn all about the ancient dinosaurs and why this area became famous. The world’s first known Stegosaurus and Apatosaurus fossils were found here during the late 19th century which started the “dinosaur rush”. When visiting you will learn about the history and geology. This Amphitheatre is ranked one of the best in the world, for obvious reasons. When you enter from the top you will be surrounded by two sections of red rocks and an outstanding view of Denver, CO. Here you will get your photos taken with a DSLR camera, which is free for all our guests. You'll get to stroll back in time through a mine that has been passed down for 4 generations. At the end you will receive an expert lesson in panning for gold and have the chance to test your skills (and keep what you find!) on this tour. The company was always super responsive with questions before the tour. We did the Dinosaur tour with Ariel and was really cool! Despite it being unusually hot for the area, we survived and got cool pictures! We felt safe with Ariel and learned a lot about the area too! I loved feeding the chipmunks at the Phoenix Mine too!

Great tour with Alli
We lucked out and were the only ones on this tour, which is quite rare. Our tour guide, Alli, was incredible! She made sure we felt good on a hike, and was very attentive to our needs, finding shady spots for rest and reminding us to hydrate. She took a lot of pictures for us, stopped and showed us good photo spots. She shared a lot of knowledge and stories and we never felt bored. The mine tour was great too, our tour guide was so full of energy and so entertaining! There was not much driving involved, a lot of foot activity, mild. Overall, we enjoyed the day and felt well taken care of, with plenty of stops, and bathroom breaks, and information, and good laughs. If you have a day, go for it!

Great Tour!
This is a great tour full of variety! We saw the Red Rocks, Dino Ridge, had an awesome BBQ lunch, and went to a gold mine. Ariel is a rockstar guide. She takes photos for her guests with a professional camera, she is very attentive to everyone’s needs and keeps the tour fun and interesting. Beware that Dino ridge does require a short but relatively steep uphill hike. If you have guests in your party who have trouble walking you may warn them about this part. Dress appropriately with sturdy shoes and apply sunblock. There are benches where you can stop for a breather. Ariel made sure everyone got plenty of time to do whatever they wanted to do, no one was rushed. It was a great day!

Amazing Day in Nature
We did the Redrocks, Dinosaur Tracks, and Gold Mine with an amazing tour guide, Bree ⛰🦖.
Bree was awesome! She is so knowledgeable of the area and just the sweetest person. Our 9 year old loved her and hugged onto her when our day was done ❤. I cannot say enough good things about this girl and how special she made our trip. Having her point out things and tell the history behind it made us realize how much we missed in some areas when we went through just days earlier. She took amazing pictures of us and the landscape around us throughout our day and sent us some of the best quality pictures I could imagine 🤩.

A taxi drive (with sick people) more than a tour
The activities were amazing. The entry to two of the activites were already free. This tour is overprice. And it wasn't a tour. It was more a taxi drive. The tour guide was sweet but didn't tell us any facts. I could have done the activites by myself.

She brought us in her own car and not in a bus. It was a small group. People on the tour were sick while it is specify that people with symptoms are denied (symptoms that can be related to COVID). They weren't wearing mask and the tour guide didn't tell them to do so. As an international traveler, I was stressed of this people being sick because I need to be tested before taking the place. If you are a US resident, this point may be less important.

This was an amazing and awesome tour. I would recommend it 100%. Learned so much on this tour and Ariel our tour guide was amazing, friendly, funny and knowledgeable. Not only did we learn so much involving the tour but also learned things outside of the tour. The restaurant that we went to (BBQ) was so good! Yum! I can’t wait to go back to Denver. Will definitely book a different activity when I am back in Denver with this company! Ariel thank you so much!

Great time! Allí and Domica were wonderful. They were so accommodating to our senior needs and adapted the tour to make it easy for us. They were great with our 14 year old grandson. We enjoyed everything along with our guides company and conversation. The sights we saw were well worth it!!

If you have never been to Colorado, this is a perfect tour to start with! The guides were very knowledgeable and explained a great deal of facts as we went about our day.
The views you are taken to are amazing and helps you take a look back in time.
Another great perk to this tour is the fact that you don't need a vehicle to go on it. The guides will give you an easy meet up area and take you to each place throughout the day.

Best tour ever
I have had many tours and have traveled quite a bit however Tyler gave us the tour of a lifetime he made as so that we felt like family. As well as we were taken care of the whole time. Great adventure and we had perfect weather I will be using Tyler again in the future.

Fabulous Day Tour with Alli
Oh wow, what an awesome day my son and I had with Alli! We loved every single thing about our day out…our beautiful hike around Red Rocks (omg the sites…so cool from the views to the wildlife), the actual Red Rocks (MUST see a show there some day!), Dinosaur Tracks (as a former teacher I was giddy seeing and learning about the tracks and fossils!), and Gold Mine (amazing…and even came away with some flecks after panning!). Oh and our lunch at the BBQ joint in Idaho Springs was incredibly delicious! My 13 year old and I looooooved it all, and we can’t thank Alli enough for her great facts and incredibly friendly self. Thank you so much!!! Would highly recommend!!!

Tyler made this adventure so much fun. Highly recommend if you want to experience an adventurous day full with amazing views! The gold rush part of the tour was fun and interesting! Loved the fact that you are in a small group and you are not rushed form place to place. You can really enjoy every part of the tour.

We had the best time with our guide,Daneeca. By the end of the tour she felt like family. The BBQ restaurant we went to was excellent and had other choices. She brought plenty of bottled water and snacks, including food suitable for diabetics. Each event was so interesting. We were in awe at the Red Rocks Amphitheater. Fascinated with the dinosaur tracks. And had a blast at the gold mine. Driving to these places on our own would not be nearly as informative and interesting. So glad we took this trip.
