Discover the fun of  Fencing during this Introductory Series! Known as the sport of kings, Fencing is one of the World's oldest sports and one of only four activities which has been featured at each of the modern Olympic Games.

During these Los Angeles Fencing Classes, you'll learn the basics of modern fencing over four thirty minute private lessons held in Burbank and Granad Hills. Throughout the lessons, your USFCA Certified Instructor will discuss the history of fencing, while teaching you how to master the basic footwork and hand positions.

Experience first-hand this challenging and exciting sport while increasing your agility, balance, confidence, reflexes and even your mind. This Los Angeles Intro to Fencing makes the perfect activity gift for anyone looking to try something new!

Who Is Included hide

The Los Angeles Intro to Fencing Classes Experience Gifts Certificate is valid for one participant. You will be joined by additional participants in the class.

This experience is not suitable for non-paying guests.

When It Is Offered hide

The Los Angeles Fencing Lessons are offered Monday, Tuesday and Friday evenings as well as Saturday mornings year-round, subject to availability.

How Long Is It hide

The LA Fencing Lessons are 30 minutes in duration and the series includes four consecutive weekly lessons.

Weather hide

The Private Fencing Lessons take place in all weather conditions.

What To Wear hide

Comfortable athletic clothing that is easy to move in and athletic shoes. All equipment, including a fencing glove, will be provided.

Additional Information hide

This Introductory Fencing Course consists of a 30 minute class, once a week for four consecutive weeks. First months dues are included in the price of the course which gives you access to the studio and equipment during normal business hours.

Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions, which are considered unsafe conditions, are not eligible to participate. Participants must be 12 years of age or older and participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a Parent or Legal Guardian.
