The Harlem Soul Food Jazz Tour Experience Gifts Certificate is valid for one participant, unless additional participants are added onto the certificate. There will be up to fourteen additional participants on the tour.

This experience is not suitable for non-paying guests or spectators.

The Harlem Tours are offered Monday and Thursday evenings, year round, subject to availability. Tours typically begin at 7:00 PM.

The New York Soul Food & Jazz Tour has a tour length of approximately 5 hours and a total duration of 5¾ hours.

The Jazz Tour of Harlem takes place in all weather conditions.

What To Wear hide

Dress comfortably. Flat rubber-soled walking shoes and layers are recommended for this New York Tour.

Additional Information hide

Price includes a Soul Food dinner as well as two cocktails per person at the musical venue. Monday evening tours offer swing dancing to a twelve-piece band while Thursday evening tours offer the sounds of jazz or rhythm and blues. Monday Tours include a free swing dance lesson.

Soul Food is the traditional African American cuisine which originated in the South. It traditionally consists of spicy ribs, collard greens, freshly cooked corn bread, black eye peas, and crispy fried chicken!

All tours are led by tour guides and take place on luxury coach buses. Most buses are equipped with on-board restrooms. Buses are not equipped with lap or shoulder belts or harnesses. The use or consumption of alcohol products is strictly prohibited on the bus. Federal and State law prohibit smoking on the bus. Video and audio recording on the bus are strictly prohibited.

Tour includes multiple stops for photo opportunities, walking and exploring each neighborhood.

This tour does not include additional beverages during dinner. Participants should bring spending money as they will have the opportunity to purchase additional food, beverages, gifts and souvenirs on the tour.

Gratuities for your tour guide are not included but are greatly appreciated and may be offered at the end of the event.

Specific stops on the tour are subject to change. Tour Guides may reschedule the tour if the minimum number of participants (4) is not met.
