Learn to rock climb during this Indoor Rock Climbing Lesson in Costa Mesa! Designed for beginners, this indoor Rock Wall Climbing adventure takes place with an experienced Climbing Instructor who will show you the ropes.

During the two-hour Climbing Course, you will learn Introductory Top Rope Skills including how to put on your harness, tie-in with a double figure eight climbing knot, and how to use a friction-plate-type belay device to hold the rope for another climber. Throughout the class you will be provided with the Climbing Gear you need as well as hands-on instruction. Once the class is complete, you will have a week to come back to the Rock Gym and practice your new skills!

So whether you are looking to begin a new hobby or simply looking to try it, this California Climbing Lesson is the perfect experience and makes a great adventure gift.

The Los Angeles Introductory Indoor Rock Climbing Classes are offered Wednesday and Friday evenings and Saturday and Sunday afternoons year-round, subject to availability. Wednesday classes typically begin at 7:00 PM, Friday classes begin at 6:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday classes typically begin at 12:00 PM.

The Los Angeles Indoor Beginner Rock Climbing Classes are 2 hours in length and have a total duration of approximately 2¼ hours.

Comfortable, athletic attire and rubber soled shoes are recommended for this adventure.

Price includes a two hour climbing lesson, a FREE Week Membership and FREE equipment rentals at the facility.

Participants must be 14 years of age or older. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. All participants must have a Participation Agreement signed participants under the age of 18 must have a the Agreement signed by their Parent or Legal Guardian. The agreement must be completed correctly and in its entirety. Anyone under the age of 18 that does not have a complete and correct Participant Agreement filled out will not be allowed to climb.

Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe are not eligible to participate.

Question: I noticed in the description that I get a one week membership to the climbing gym after my class so that I can practice. Does that include gear rental?

Answer: Yes, after your class you will have one week to practice what you learn. Equipment rental is included for the week.
Question: Do I need a lot of upper body strength to take this climbing class?

Answer: Not with proper technique. You actually rely more on your legs than your arms.
Question: I'd like to take the class with my son. Is there a minimum age?

Answer: The minimum age for the Los Angeles Indoor Rock Climbing class is 14. All participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver.
Question: I got this gift for my birthday but I don't own any equipment, is that okay?

Answer: The gym will has fixed ropes and harnesses for you to use. If you have you're own climbing shoes you should bring them, but don't worry if you don't.
