Take in the sights and sounds of NYC on this ninety minute narrated New York Harbor Sightseeing Cruise. Sit back and relax as you enjoy the City’s stunning skyline and famous landmarks.

This exciting adventure begins on the Westside of the City at Pier78 where you will board the sightseeing vessel. Once ready, the Captain will navigate the double decker boat south down the majestic Hudson River and up the East River to the United Nations. Along the scenic cruise you will enjoy extraordinary views of Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Battery Park, Governors Island, the Brooklyn Manhattan and Williamsburg Bridges, South Street Sea Port, the Chrysler Building and more! A licensed NYC Tour Guide will point out the sights and gladly share their knowledge of all things New York as you travel around the harbor in style!

The New York Harbor Cruises are offered seven days a year-round, subject to availability. Cruises typically depart every 90 minutes starting at 10:00 AM with the last cruise departing at 4:00 PM.

Twilight Cruises are offered seven days a week May thru November, and typically departs at 7:30.

Weather-affected but fun

Our cruise was a birthday gift from family. Overall it was a good experience; the ticketing, boarding and the service provided were all smooth. Unfortunately, as we motored down the Hudson soon after setting off we were engulfed by a snow squall which obliterated practically all visibility and although we got a few atmospheric shots through the murk the main landmarks, eg Statue of Liberty and the Manhattan skyline, were hard to see which was a great pity.
Overall I'd recommend the cruise to anyone thinking of going to NYC but wish them better weather!

Bad Sound

The boat tour was nice, but we could not hear what the tour guide was saying on the top level (outside) of the boat. We were forced to choose a better view outside and not be able to hear the interesting facts about the city, or to sit inside and hear he facts, but not be able to truly enjoy the view. That was frustrating. Otherwise, it was nice.

Brilliant Sightseeing Cruise

I can't praise the cruise highly enough. Unfortunately we booked for the only rainy day of our vacation, and so were slightly concerned that it might be a bit of a wash out. However, the boat was warm and dry, and the views were spectacular. We got incredibly close to Liberty. Special praise must go to Bonnie, our guide, who was the most lovely woman you'll ever meet.

Question: I have reservations for my family to go on the New York Harbor Cruise around the Hudson and East Rivers. Is there any food or beverages included on the tour? Should I bring snacks?

Answer: The tour asks that you not bring any outside food or beverages on the tour. While drinks and snacks are not included, they are available for purchase on the boat.
Question: My wife and I are going on the cruise during our two week trip to NY. Is there any parking near the docks for the Harbor Cruise?

Answer: Yes, there are two public parking garages near docks for the New York Harbor Sightseeing Cruise. Cruise participant's can receive discount vouchers for both of the lots.
Question: My husband and I are going on the Sightseeing Cruise tomorrow thanks to our kids. Do I just need to show my confirmation email to board the boat?

Answer: Once you arrive at the ship you'll need to exchange your Experience Days certificate AND confirmation email for tickets by checking into the Terminal first. Instructions will be in your confirmation email.
Question: I have a reservation for the New York Harbor Sightseeing Cruise tomorrow and my guest had to change his plans at the last minute. Can I bring someone else?

Answer: You may bring a different guest than is listed on your reservation as long as you are with them. If your guest is going and you cannot you must call the number listed in your confirmation email and let them know they will be checking in instead of you.
