About This Experience

Learn how to ride a motorcycle during a two-hour introduction to motorcycling! This hands-on introductory motorcycle lesson is designed to give the pure novice a taste of what motorcycle riding is all about.

Working one-on-one with your MSF Certified Rider Coach, you will learn the skills and confidence to get on a bike and ride. Your Rider Coach will teach you how to locate and operate the motorcycle’s controls, coordinate the throttle and clutch, straight line riding as well as turning, shifting and breaking.

So, if you have always wanted to learn to ride a motorcycle, this Introduction to Motorcycling is the perfect opportunity to learn the basics and see what all of the fun is about!

Who Is Included hide

The Motorcycle Riding Lesson in Massachusetts Xperience Certificate® is for one participant. This is a private lesson.

This experience is not suitable for guests.

When It Is Offered hide

The Massachusetts Motorcycle Riding Lesson is offered on select weekdays, May thru October, subject to availability.

How Long Is It hide

The Motorcycle Riding Intro Lesson in Massachusetts includes a 2 hour training session and has a total duration of approximately 2½ hours.

Weather hide

The Motorcycle Hands-On Introductory Lesson may be cancelled by the Instructor due to heavy rain or other inclement weather.

What To Wear hide

Comfortable clothing. Participants must wear boots or over the ankle shoes, a jacket or long sleeve shirt. You will be provided with a helmet and gloves.

Additional Information hide

Bikes used in the lessons include Honda Nighthawk 250cc, Honda Rebel 250cc and the Kawasaki Eliminator 125cc.

Participation in experience is limited to individuals who are atleast 18 years of age. Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe are not eligible to participate.

Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form and must have a valid Auto Drivers License.

Reservation Information hide

All changes to reservations for Motorcycle Riding Lesson Experience require fourteen (14) days advance notice. Changes to reservations are subject to a $25.00 administrative fee. No changes can be made to reservations within 14 days of the scheduled reservation.

Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.
